Your thoughts on Keith Urban's new "tattoo"...

It looks like an amoeba, a black amoeba...no...a sea urchin... which no doubt represents kidman, who has latched onto him and is in the process of sucking out of him any...spontaneity...creativity
...originality...photo op and "event expoitation" shamelessness! Ah yes, tattoos, and to me, the refuge of the "uninspired"...too unwilling to attempt the "creation' themselves...
"Oh, just slap that mermaid onto my chest so I can "show off YOUR work" from a strategicly unbuttoned shirt on stage! I mean, have you heard the orb's stuff on his current cd? Yeah, not many did! Yes...no doubt that black blob on his chest represents something "SO" dear to his heart...he even had it cut into him in that specific location!

I like it. It's not as good though as the tatoo on his arm which reads "Granny forever".

The results are in folks. No surprises I guess:

Well it's nice to see Amanda has resurfaced. She's at Facebook this time folks. Think anyone can get her noting @ Keith?

The tattoo? Looks like a Sun. Over the Moon, Brand New Sunshine, SUNday.... it's been too easy, dont you think? Kinda like keith is Himself. Way too easy.

Have to go with Maclen on this one. It looks like a "black blob". To each his own I guess.

I could care less how many tattoos he decides to get. Tattoos have very personal meanings to those who decide to get them. That hair is my biggest problem now. What the heck? It looks as if each hair has been super glued in place.

yes, tatt's are personal things, but when they are in positions where they are easily seen, then in my opinion, they are making a 'statement' to the world at large ... just like our choice of clothing does ... (why people wear expensive branded clothing for eg) ... so I think Keith's latest tatt is definitely a 'statement' one ... looks like a sun so it could mean anything like the "sun shines outta my heart", SUNday, I am the centre of my universe, I have a warm heart, I am hot, etc etc ... however, I personally find the design creepy and dark ... it looks like an alien creature gripping his chest ... i simply don't like it (tho I like tatt's - nice ones) ... he has such a lovely face, why go and put something there to distract from it ... or maybe that is the purpose ... big mistake Keithy! (I feel). It was supposedly a 'birthday present' - wonder if it was from Nicole or from himself. If it is from her .... mmmm?!

Yes, Mikki, and that black blob has so much "meaning" to him, dont forget...like that wrist tatt that Choice mentions! He got it for that "special woman" in his life...then had to modify it when he hooked up with kidman! They say tattoos are very "addicting" and for the already addict orb, that's not a good sign...and based on his obvious intention of "displaying" them...I can only hope he doesnt get one on his ass! He'd look rather ridiculous in those Prince "cutout buttock" pants!

I read on a site that he was seen driving a new Thunderbird that was Nicole's birthday gift to him. Mentioned in reference to Nicole having shown up at a vintage car auction some time ago.

The only reason I say anything is because my husband has tattoos. Some find questionable and have said so to him. I hear the reasons of what others think of them. But know the actual "why" of it to him, is the furthest thing from what they think. I also wonder how a judgement can be made when we can't see the whole thing. We are seeing maybe 1/4 of it. I claim no knowledge of Keith, but think that he just put that shirt on just like the hunderds before and went out to play. Most men do not think at all like a women, in that what they are wearing is making a big statement about them. If he wanted to make a big statement about it, he would have come out in a tank top. We would have seen a whole lot more of the tat then. I still go back to that awful hair!!! WTF???

...on an off topic note...it seems the kidman fansies over at NKU have posted this article on a new unifem campaign...

http://www.unifem.org/campaigns/sayno/

Thank you for saying NO to Violence against Women!

"On 6 November 2009, UNIFEM will take the initiative one step further. UNIFEM Executive Director Inés Alberdi and Goodwill Ambassador Nicole Kidman will kick off the new global platform for action Say NO–UNiTE to End Violence against Women in Kenya."

The NKusers are of course giddy with glee that kidman will be in Kenya! But I caution restraint in that belief, for the article also states...

"The innovative web platform will stimulate, count and showcase actions on ending violence against women."

...and I wouldnt be surprised if kidman doesnt simply "video feed" her bit to the campaign! And isnt it "pure coincidence" this campaign is scheduled for November...the same exact month her new FILM was to come out as well?! HA! Too bad for kidman weinco. pushed back the release of Nine to late Dec only a few weeks ago! Otherwise, and most assuredly, this campaign would have been launched in December! Chock another one up for inept team kidman...thanks weinco, I really do appreciate it! Seems kidman's dead career has left her soooo much time lately to...testify in Congress...and now help "launch" this campaign! Wouldn't be surprised at all if kidman has other photo op campaigns scheduled this month...for promo of a film that wont be out till late next month! HA! HA!

So...in another edition on my "Late Night Musings"...(although not as late as i thought! I almost overlooked that is was the end of Daylights Savings Time!)...I wanted to muse over a few items of current buzz over with the monkeylanders. Seems this past friday orb played an acoustic gig at a verizon store...

Cool Springs store prepares for Keith Urban's arrival

...and it seems the monkeylander who posted it...picked up on the quote..."Keith Urban regularly fills football stadiums with his fans."... and another quote "An early estimate by store management puts attendance between 500 and 1,500, but Urban's popularity is a wild card in trying to guess how many might show up.
So this monkeylander excitedly commented, "It's true Keith can fill an entire football field..they're expecting more than 1,000 fans to show up." Well, it seems only about 800 fans showed up...

http://www.countrymusictattletale.com/2009/10/31/keith-urban-verizon-store-acoustic-performance

"According to sources Keith played to a crowd of 800..."

(I'm still trying to decipher if that quote "but Urban's popularity is a wild card in trying to guess how many might show up." was meant as a compliment or a back handed slap! I'm guessing the later myself!)
So, it will become less of a comedown for the monkeylanders if they learn NOT to continue to OVERESTIMATE" anything concerning the orb's career! For they are only now coming to the knowledge that orb's album has barely sold just over 500k cds...as another monkeylander has posted that "Defying Sales" has just been certified......."GOLD"..... by the RIAA...

http://riaa.com/goldandplatinumdata.php?table=SEARCH_RESULTS

Defying Gravity certified GOLD by RIAA October 16, 2009

...and the very next monkeylander commented that it was "dispointing" that "Defying Sales" was at #19 on the country charts! But...the very last comment put it all into "monkey-outlandish" perspective!

"Defying Gravity is absolutely brilliant.
A true Love Story written in music."

Personally from what I can see of it so far...I'm not liking it so much. If that was in any way NK's way of "marking" him, she may as well lifted a leg and peed on him. At least that would have washed off!

While I am not a "fan" of tattoos but I am a FAN if Keith. If he wants to have them I say "To each his own". I'm sure it has some important meaning to him or he wouldn't have had it done. I didn't see it while I was up near the stage watching him perform Friday night at the Grand Ole Opry. But his shirt was probably buttoned up higher. By the way his performance was awesome. He really has a connection with the fans & he seemed to be very honored to be at the Opry performing. I wish I had made the acoustic performances earlier. He looks and sounds even better in person than he does on TV or in pictures. Keep up the GREAT work Keith :)

The hair must be superglued in place, otherwise his teenybopper fans might realize he has less hair than dad!

Well, here we go again...the desperate and flailing kidman is once again flogging her marriage to cruise and "opens up" on her "strange sexual fetish'" stuff....

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1225066/Nicole-Kidman-reveals-love-life-kinky-opens-strange-sexual-fetish-encounters.html

Nicole Kidman reveals her love life has been kinky as she opens up about 'strange sexual fetish' encounters

"But in one of her most revealing-ever interviews, Nicole Kidman let slip how her experiences of love ranged from ‘mundane’ marriage to ‘strange sexual fetish stuff’."
"I’ve explored obsession. I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff, I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage, and monogamy,’ she said."

...right, she once again speaks of..obsession....loss....love of being in a grief stricken place... and kinky strange sexual fetish stuff! Yeah she is a regular modern day "Virginia Woolf"...a virtual reincarnation of "Sarah William Winchester"...morose and distraught...and once again I must point out...she is NOT Virginia Woolf"...she only played her in a film! Boy! I think this is even more sensational than the Vanity Fair piece she did a few years ago...right in between the massive flop that was The Invasion... the tremondous indifference that was Margot at the wedding...and the huge dispointment that was golden compass! So...who exactly is this stuff supposed to "appeal" to? Insane, suicidal and depressed asylum members? And as usual the article sounds like alot of sensational and random headlines..."strange sexual fetish stuff"... but is very short of specifics of course...because truly there aint no specifics...kidman is, and is rightfully percieved to be dull, bland, unspontanious and a rather limp fish. These things only exist in the shallow magazine pieces simply to flog a film.

...HA! just got to the end of the quotes in this daily mail piece on the GQ interview...

"‘I’d just given birth, so I was like “OK, I’m [still] a woman – I want to do this film. And I do have a life other than simply feeding this baby”,’ she said.

‘I think when you give birth you get itchy to get back to work and you want to feel life still goes on.’

..well, I quess kidman's "motherly love" waned out rather quickly... for "she does have a life other than simply feeding THIS baby? And I guess to kidman, having a kid is like the end of her life...and making a film again makes her feel like life goes on? Boy, she is even shallower and far more self centered than I even thought!

..pps...

...Ha! I just have to add...again, too bad this "sensational" tell all piece in the british GQ...(what...wait?.. the BRITISH GQ!? Cant kidman get the US GQ?...or did pen cruz already get that one as well!)...again, too bad this piece was scheduled in Nov when the film was "originally" supposed to open...but now that it wont come out til late Dec...I,m sure the stench of this tell all piece will have faded long before then! And also, tell me again how the "tarted up and slutty" cover of kidman is gonna play with the self confidence and the outlook on their own and other peoples respect and dignity for woman's rights? You know those unfortunate and sexually and physically abused women across the world kidman claimed to be so concerned about?

maclen said...

So as is very obvious...that this new "sensational tell all" for "british" GQ will be an endless and limitless resource for a good spell of derision and mockery on my part! And yes, peanut gallery...I am aware that this magazine cover story is the "December" issue of the magazine to go on sale for that month...and of course, the "stench" of which I speak of is this intitial "reveal" hitting the supernets in early Nov! Now as to the cover photo of kidman..."in sexy black underwear and thigh-high boots no doubt will be the odds on favorite to make Dlist's "Photoshop Award" tommorrow morning! And no doubt that is it's intention...to make all the tabloid and gossip sites! So how "tawdry and distastefully salacious" is this new piece by the desperate kidman? Even NKUser fansies are warning the other fansies to steer clear on the nets and "google"...and quote, "Looking forward to the writeup but not the many twisted articles that will come from it so that is me off Google for the next few weeks...and..."Field day(s) coming. Not only google; better stay off internet and TV." Ha! Fields days? Ya think! Twisted articles? Kidman talks of her "strange twisted fetishes" in a magazine article and other people will be twisted about it! Twisted is the sanctimonious kidman preaching of the "DAMAGE" Hollywood does to the "IMAGE OF WOMEN" yet claiming she is free of the "sexploitation" or the demeaning imagagery of women hollywood engages in! She...in her black underwear and "thigh high boots...rambling on about her strange sexual fetish sex. And all these real and personal "revelations" just happen to coincidently mesh with the theme of the upcoming film! Yeah, and all the monkeylanders flew out her boney butt!
Another passage from the article also caught my attention..."Talking about people’s obsession with blogs and social networking websites, she said: ‘If you know what is going on inside somebody’s head all the time that’s not a good place." HA! Believe me, kidman, we all know on THIS blog what is going on in your flakey, shallow and empty head...and we all agree...you are not in a good place!

Time to avoid the newsagent again. Another Kidman magazine hits the stands, and it looks kinky! Anything for some PR ahead of two stinker films. Dejavue, anyone:

Let's not forget the wonders someone did with the "airbrushing" for the photo shoot. It amazes me that she finds a way to bring up Tom Cruise in EVERY interview she does....she sounds like that pity-party is still going on!

That "black blob" is actually a tribal sun design. He got in July of 2008 when his first daughter, SUNday Rose was born in a tribute to her. Why do we have have controversy about a celebrities' choice of body art? Personally I think it's sweet that he got a tattoo for his daughter.
