Happy Australian Father's Day, Keith!

Since he chose not to celebrate the American Father's Day in June because it was his wife's birthday, here's hoping that Sunday Rose Kidman Urban will be celebrating with her father today. Oh wait, he's in Connecticut, getting ready for a show tonight. Well, there are still tickets available, so maybe she can go to the show. Unless of course, she's in Shreveport with her Mum staying at a hotel. Or if she's in Nashville staying with the Nanny. Well, Happy Father's Day, anyway, Keith Urban, from all of us at Urban Myths.

you know, it's really quite sad how bitter you are still. Really, it's been five years that he's been with her; isn't it really time you got a life? Yes, yes, free speech, blah blah blah ... but all this blog really shows is someone - or as you've said in the past, a group of someones - who is/are so bitter over a celebrity dating, then marrying someone else, that they have tunnel vision: everything this celebrity and his wife does is now bad in your eyes. Seriously, you're on the bad side of stalking here. But again, every time your blog comes up in a search and I scan the first few lines, I can just shake my head in pity. Really, isn't it time to just let go and live a life apart from spewing about Keith and Nicole? Seriously?

Got anything to contribute to the topic Debbi? Or are you just here to attack the posters?

maclen said...

Clearly, the OZ holiday NOT worthy enough for cheap, meaningless and overtly overdone platitudes from "mutt and jeff!" Orb proclaiming "I will forgo my own celebration of father's day for it will overshadow my lady loves day in the sun!" Didnt have to be a "drama queen over it orb, simply say you would have simply celebrated both... a cake for you and a cake for your mother mutt...as it was explained in the press release to people.com...

http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20397980,00.html

"And that wasn't the only night for partying: On June 20, they had a joint celebration for Kidman's 43rd birthday and Father's Day."

So again, orb's pointless and meaningess platitudes about "doing without father's day props for his "baby girl" was totally "undercut" my mutt's press release to people magazine! No doubt, out of humiliation on this point, orb simply ignored the aussie father's day props! Orb now regularly checks before opening his mouth in public about these idiotic proclaimations!

mikki, the topic is as ridiculous as the posters motivation so, no, I'll just say my piece. Have a nice day!

maclen said...

Ha! Yes mikki...another indignant, hyperventilating fansie, come to "defend the honor" of the hapless orb! OH YES...I'm SOOO jealous of his life...of a drunkard...drug addled...I'm SO green with envy over his "fairly tale" marriage to a pasty, pale, rail thin self centered and narcisstic attention monger! OH YES...I should be more like this model of lucid and clear mindedness...this member of monkeyland! So get a load of this "model of SANITY!"

'I quit my job to see Keith Urban'
on: August 27, 2010, 07:12:07 PM

"Yupp, that's right.

Here`s the story.... During my interview I told the manager that I needed this weekend off because I was leaving the country on important matters (to see Keith Urban and John Mayer but I didn`t tell him that lol).

Turns out that my first day was supposed to be the day of the concert and I told him that I wouldn`t be able make it because of a prior engagement."

He told me that if I was not there on Saturday to not bother coming back again. So I called and said, thanks but no thanks. I have certain priorities in life and this job isn`t one of them.

I realize that it is very difficult to get a decent paying job in this economic market but I knew what I had to do.

So I am going to see Keith and John at the Gorge on Saturday night.

Wow, what PRIORITIES...what a FABULOUS sense of what is truly important! HEY mikki...do me a favor and ask the hyperventilating fansie up above if she knows if this "example of unfailing reality" has any kids who need food on the table...or new clothes for school...or a trip to the dentist! Such a truly "inspiring" example of an orb fansie! I'd say!

It appears that Debbie has a hard time accepting the truth because everything in this recent blog is the truth. Keith said he wouldn't be celebrating Father's Day until September. It is September now, and he is off doing a show, and she is filming a movie down south, so where is Sunday Rose for Oz Father's Day?

maclen, at this time, I think we know PR BS when the sighting always turns to what Kidman was wearing and how she looked. There's never a comment about Keith's appearance. Of course, they always look so in loovvvvve! Her PR team knew that didn't make Kidman look lovely when she couldn't share her birthday with her husband's father day - that would make her look selfish and self-centered!

blue sky said...

maclen, Debbie spoke of stalking earlier, and in my book, giving up employment for a Keith Urban concert would be called stalking. There's no sense of reality with his fans. All I can say is try paying your bills with your used concert ticket, idiot!

The fact that y'all research his life/career so heavily kind of creeps me out. Constantly commenting negatively on EVERY little thing he says/does, coming up with theories, copying&pasting his fans' comments, trying to catch him in lies.. Sounds a little like you people are obsessed, don't ya think?

He's successful. Get over it.
He has money. Get over it.
He has a wife. Get over it.
Whether his marriage is the real deal or PR business, is NOBODY'S business but theirs, and guess what? Get over it.
(BTW, the fact that you would even come up with that idea is extremely weird.)
He's talented. Get over it.
He's loved by thousands & thousands of people. Get over it.

WHY in the WORLD do you care what this man does? It's HIS life.

Do you think he cares that, what, 8people think his career is over? Or that his marriage is fake? There's like.. 10 of you on here. What is so little of y'alls opinions gonna do to him? NOTHING. He won't be affected. GIVE UP.

I find it sad that you all don't have better things to do than this.

debbi, I'm stunned at your arrogance. Who are you to tell people what to think? Do you really believe that your superior attitude will have any influence on someone elses opinion? If you find discussing two celebrities so distasteful then the obvious question is, why are you reading this site?

If you intend to comment on the opinions of others I suggest that you invest the time in reading rather than scanning a few lines so you at least know what your talking about. Then perhaps we could have an intelligent debate on the subject.

Anonymous said...

Well Laura, our opinions certainly affect you. You are obviously bothered by what we have to say if you take the time to read and comment on it. Don't you have better things to do?? If, as you say, Keith doesn't care then why does it bother you? You said yourself he has a successful career and it doesn't matter if his marriage is a business arrangement. So why the need to defend him? How much damage can we do here at UM?

so to continue my thesis on the "mentality" of the orb fansies...

Here some responses to that posting by Monkeylander "nick_winch"...

"OMG!!! I can't wait to hear how the concert goes for you! Wishing I was in Washington!!! God Bless!!"

"Jobs are important, but certain things do take priority, lol!!!! Let us know all about it and I'm sure you'll get an even better job offer soon!!!! MonkeyHugs, Janie"

...though there are SOME monkeys who seem to question this poster's sanity!...

klynne replies...

"That is crazy! I have threatened to quit my job too if they wouldn't approve my time off to see Keith! What type of work were you doing before you quit?"

...but then, another whackadoddle chimes in...

Lmao!! Me too!

...but then a little sanity creeps back in...

KUFROGGY55
"I do agree Keith is importannt ,but sorry to quit your job I really donot know about that."

...Dont know? A job...or follow around a country jingler? Who the hell do you think he is? The Grateful Dead!? No doubt the monkeysite will soon organize a "monkeymobile" and have these "stable" members drive around the country...actually trying to "promote" and "publicize" the dwindling orb!

hoosierlady said...

Oh Maclen---Jerry Garcia reference floored my bored ass!

A great big Hoosier Thank You!

Who's this new chick, Debbi, doesn't understand the humor, huh.

Yes, Maclen, there is another here, and once again we are stuck doing remedial work, when we were finally getting back to comments and replies. I think we should have an Urban Myth's survey:

How many posters want to ignore?

How many posters want to do remedial work?

If remedial work is required, will you be willing to do a shift?

The weight of responsibility is heavy.

maclen said...

Well, hoosier, glad I could give you a little chuckle at the expense of these Einsteins! You know the ones who especially bother to COMMENT on this blog...asking other COMMENTORS "WHY DO YOU COMMENT ON THIS BLOG? DONT YOU HAVE LIVES?" You know, they are asking...by COMMENTING on this blog! FOR...by their OWN standards and logic...they obviously DONT have lives...because...in their own opinion...commenting on THIS blog must mean THEY dont have lives! HA! The "serendipitous anti logic" these idiots engage in has me rolling on the floor!

Well-said, Laura!

nikki: I toss your own words right back at you: Got anything to contribute to the topic Debbi? Or are you just here to attack the posters?. If you intend to comment on the opinions of others I suggest that you invest the time in reading rather than scanning a few lines so you at least know what your talking about. Then perhaps we could have an intelligent debate on the subject.

So far, you have ignored the "topic" to attack me and, had you bothered to read my comment and actually understand it, you would also understand why I find your second comment just as amusing.

As to the topic, not a single one of the posters has any idea of what Keith, Nicole and Sunday's home life is like nor what their relationship is. Therefore, every post made is based on speculation and conjuncture as well as an almost, it seems, insatiable pettiness.

blue sky said...

I do agree Keith is importannt

The fansies rank Keith as being important in their lives. I'm not sure if I think they are sad or sick. Where does Keith rank with all the other important things in their lives?

Anonymous said...

You don't make a lot of sense Debbi. Its all speculation based on the PR BS put out by celebrities. Its a matter of opinion whether or not you chose to believe it. Its basically that simple. We all see what we want to see. The point is, you can't silence anyone who disagrees with you simply by telling them to "get a life". If your offended by what is said here, if it makes you sad, then why read it for heavens sake. Who does that? Wouldn't a fan site, where you can share your adoration for your favorite celebrities be more inviting? And the best part, we wouldn't be there!!

123xyz said...

Well Blue Sky, Keith's important enough in your life, for you to post about him ad nauseum, daily here and elsewhere. I'm not sure, is that sad or sick????

blue sky said...

Would I decline a job offer because it would impact my "ad nauseum" posting abilities? No.

I've been there. I tried to get to as many shows as I could, and thankfully he got into this relationship for me. I then realized how silly it was to hold this guy in such high regard because she really did a good job of exposing his flaws to us.

Yes, you travel and meet up with friends, but only to see the inside of a concert venue. Here's an idea; take a trip with those same friends, but don't go somewhere for the sake of Keith. Enjoy the beach, mountains or whatever scenery is around you, and see if you can keep Keith out of your mind and conversation. Is it Keith that keeps you friends with your concert buddies? Do you have anything in common with them outside of Keith?

To go cold turkey without Keith, who would really have a problem here?

123xyz said...

I've been best friends with my travel buddy for 11 yrs. Before we even knew who Keith was. We talk on the phone several times a day about our families, our jobs, etc. We get together for each others families birthdays and holidays. Keith's not the main source of conversation for us.
We stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast in beautiful Stowe, Vt. this weekend. We shopped in the quaint town there. Neither of us are skiers, so we would have never gone to Stowe had it not been for Keith playing there. We swam in the pool in CT and enjoyed a nice dinner out before that show. Our trips usually include lots of shopping (I got a gorgeous purse this weekend) and having nice meals. So maybe you are speaking about your trips to see Keith with friends but not mine.

He finally celebrated Father's Day on Labor Day. And he mostly talks about "Nic"... only mentions getting a card from "Sunny". Would be nice to hear more about what being a father means to him, etc., rather than receving a painting of a heart (did Taylor paint it?) from his wife.

blue sky said...

I may be wrong, but don't Father's Day gifts usually come from the children, and where is a "man" supposed to hang a painting of a heart from his wife in his house? In his man cave? "Sunny" gives him a simple gift, but Nic gives him a gift of art because she has so much class. He keeps losing my respect - what should be a celebration about him and his child turns back to his wife again.
