The 'Rabbit Hole' Trailer has been released...

The trailer for Rabbit Hole is out. It's showing at a number of upcoming Film Festivals in anticipation of a limited holiday release, just in time for possible Oscar nominations. With the Oscar buzz surrounding this film, we are surprised it took so long to get picked up by a distributor, but Lionsgate took the bait. Apparently they aren't afraid of Miss Box Office Poison.

She actually shows some emotion in the trailer, and isn't using her Baby Girl whispering voice. There are a number of films out now with strong leading actresses, so the competition will be stiff. But it appears that she may be good in this role. How will a successful movie affect her proclamations of working less and spending more time down home on the farm? How will it affect the hold she has on Keith's muse, music and career? Let's discuss....

honestly as a Kidman fan, I can say this is the first movie since Moulin Rouge! that I will want to go to the theatre and spend money on to see her in it. Diane Wiest is in it for goodness sake! It looks like a great film based on an even greater play and I will def go see it and support Nicole. Can't wait!

Big deal...she appears irritable, overly neurotic and sporadic (not smooth continuous rich mature performance or what concensus could perceive as fine acting...like winslet in reader) Her voice and intonation are still brittle and movements irrational. After australia she has to show she's not a walking wooden stick; I get it. What I dont' understand is the hype as oscar-worthy for her mere efforts to negate that past performance with this one, etc. Don't know about you, do see a lot of TV stars with her level of acting caliber who do a lot of outcries, ranting, emotional, irratic and wish their scenes would be kept to a min or in the background in the way her scenes were controlled in margo! Some critics did mentioned that her acting was too much, competing with those of her co-stars even when some scenes were theirs...figures. So rigid, so difficult and trying to be flexible for her....

Well, when I watched this trailer and the scenes where she is speaking, all I hear is the voice/sounds of the adults in the Charlie Brown cartoons.

I don't know what it is - poor acting "talent" or if she doesn't have control of her face due to all of the procedures done to it, but I am paying more attention to her face than what she is saying, and yes, those lips are just plain awful. The same thing happened in "Australia".

Another sign of poor acting - she can't control her accent whatsoever. I watched "The Curious Benjamin Button" for the first time tonight, and Cate Blanchett maintains her southern drawl throughout the film. Kidman can't hold it during the yelling scene with Aaron.

Even though I love Aaron Eckhart, I'm going to pass on this one. Not a great job of casting, IMO. Aaron is a very attractive man, and she looks like she could almost play his mom instead.

smorgas91 said...

Another thing...in both versions of the trailor for this film her character bashes her mother's character. Yet the actress who plays her mom sounds soft, pliable, reasonable, pleading, sad...so why is NK character so bashing, frustrated and dismissive of her (okay, not having read the book or seen the whole movie could be the reason) but if a fine actress why can't she act more subtley that we get her inner angst or something...yep, ranting and screaming. that's her style, like in hours. I didn't get that either, didn't know v woolfe was so brittle, tantrum throwing (like a silly "girl") and so shallow...no way, her performance here like in hours is NOT oscar worthy. Stop the rumor.

Why would I want to spend the holidays watching a film about the after affects of the death of a four year old? Wiest is good but she is an actress and is good in anything she does. It took almost two years to get this movie out wonder why?
Not really.

I'm sorry but for a person that left two children to go find a man. And acquired another just to keep her face in the media. I for one cannot fathom how she could possibly feel the loss of a child. Your own flesh and blood. Of course she does show alot of emotion upon discovering another wrinkle!! ((giggles)))

When it comes to NK there is no way I would waste my money to see her try to act. It is to depressing!

I wonder if she has a small roll in trespass? She was supposedly all over Nashville last week.
When will she move to New York?

smorgas91 said...

Blue sky wrote "...Cate Blanchett maintains her southern drawl throughout the film. Kidman can't hold it during the yelling scene with Aaron." Very astute...her accent had disappeared all together in australia at the end...and had become all so common person. Regardless of situations or outcomes to the storyline a manor birth with title would remain that, that's all they know. Her interpretation of her character is either not there, sloppy, or sheer plain lack of detail and no talent. Also thanks for the kind comment about country music in the last thread! Always enjoy reading yours & A440, well thoughtout and articulated (and not personal, self-selling), mclean (writes better than some professionals) and a handful of others....

wow im glad they dont put the genneral public in charge of nominating oscars b/c people do not understnad talent unless you have extensively been trained (like I am) in theatre and film. Would you rather see Miley "no-talent" Cyrus play in it b/c I guarantee that she would have sucked this film into a black hole of never seeing the light of day. Go to an acting workshop or theatre school and then you can judge what true talent is, but until then please shut up.

A440 said...

smorgas, thanks for the shout out. That was kind!

Tara, do you mean moving to NYC for her Broadway gig? If so, I think she's got that HBO Hemingway project to do first.

I just wonder how Keith will enjoy being away from Nashville during that time. Still to be determined is how long her Broadway gig will last. Several weeks? She could open it and then turn it over to another actor. But if it's several months or even longer...

I smell some real marital conflict, if so.

smorgas91 said...

Miley is a poor example but doesn't take professional training to recognize poor acting and hence defining talent as that which keeps the audience interested in the movie through their acting, recognize that she aint got any. It had been voiced by the entertainment industry to professional movie reviewers to amateurs on quite a few of her movies, foremost australia to give her the title of box office posion...so what,if a consensus is reached, no amount of anyone's professional know-how about acting is going to change the consense that she's a wooden wax doll, that means no talent, can't act. Well, another professional in the same industry who hasn't even joined the ranks of named stars, someone like that could provide more accurate assessment over all of us...yeah right...(yawn)...LOL

So, my little contribution to this thread...

It's time for another edition of "Insomniac theater 3000: orb edition!

...well, it's time for a little preview...orbs next itunes offer from the new album...so now a few choice lyrics from "Long hot summer"...

"Over at the lake,
and down by the river,
You can feel it start to rise."

"Wanna jump in my car,
go where ever you are
Cause I need you by my side."

"Singing along with the radio,
it's such a beautiful sound.
And when you say my name,
really meant alot today
I swear I see the stars come out."

And when your holding my hand,
in the back of my mind
Just waiting on the sun to go down."

So, didnt orb already cover this in the "teen angst'... Put you in a song? He's got the radio, the car...singing along with said radio once again. It seems orb HAS A formula...for summer single releases...he simply write songs with summer in the title and releases them in the summer! Now again, orb has also covered this theme in his previous album...the song, "Til summer comes around" which was of course released just this past summer! Well now orb has his next summer single...called "Long Hot summer...how original!"
Now, while "Til summer comes around" was a rip off of Bread's "Guitar Man"... "Long Hot summer" is clearly a rip off of a mixture of The Police's "DOnt stand so close to me"....

"Don't Stand So Close To Me - The Police"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvfb8GcKAWs

and Greg kihn's "The Break up song"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMVyH_aR_Cw

...the orb even throws in a... "uh uh uh, uh uh, uh uh uh...as in Kihn's lyric..."Weve broken up for good just an hour before UH uh uh, uh uh, uh uh uh...
Well I said it before, and I'll say it again... orb's music IS JUST SO DERIVATIVE! I can hear so many lifts off of so many songs! So when you finally listen to orb's "Long Hot Summer...listen for the Police's "Dont stand so close to me" and Greg kihn's "The Breakup song"...if your aware of those songs...you will definately hear them!

Kidman has a very odd head profile when you look at her in the washer scene and the scene with Diane.

Another good comparison of her acting with others - the opening scene with all the parents in the therapy group. You can see the pain in all of their faces, and then Kidman speaks, and there's the face that makes you go "WTH" and you lose the point of the entire scene.

Ha! Yes...orb continuing to butcher those 70's classics! It was cringe worthy listening to the sour notes during orb's castrating of the guitar solo of Steve Miller's "The Joker" in part two of that youtube video, F.I.N.E. Orb clearly DOES NOT posess the technique to get the original version's funky "groove"...his is rather robotic. I get a kick when he raises the guitar as he seems to attempt to almost "pour just little bit of reverb" out of his guitar! The WORD IS derivative!

I've read some good points in previous posts. I personally don't see RH going very far. We have a nation of very sad and stressed out people. I believe they would rather spend their money on comedy then tragedy. So inept acting aside, I think NK is going to lose her shirt on this one!!

As far as KU is concerned. I believe he has some real soul searching to do. Maybe he is doing it, maybe he isn't. This music feels to me as though he is in search of his muse!! Without one he is obviously doomed. And you don't have to be Wagner or Shakespeare to know it.

OK, as a courtesy to Urban Myths...and the subject of the blog...I will offer what I usually offer, which has applied to kidman's "weepy dreary indie flicks" going back to 2003's Dogville. The film gets it's "awards buzz"...the film is released "limited"...other films and actress' "swamp" her buzz... and I say the odds are she does not get the oscar nom. Her "record" of performance the past 9 years is 2 years of success to 7 years of failure...so those odds are almost 70% failure of getting a nom. That's my calculated take!
Now back to orb, it does not surprise me at all, F.I.N.E and Fading Fan...regarding those "inconsistent" explainations of the songs on his album. "Put you in a song" is about that "unattainable" woman...but then the "title" of the album, orb later explains is ALL about mutt... so by all logic, orb wants to put mutt in a song...but mutt was NOT unattainable to orb...so there IS NO match! Again, not surprising at all..the cd is simply a random collection of songs orb stashed together in a very short time...no real cohesion or reason...other than the EXPECTED explaination it was for mutt. But also recall, when the album release was first announced in late august to be this Nov...orb was simply "about half way done"...and he claimed it was ALL written and recorded...but a video posted at his monkeyland a few weeks ago showing orb "still writing" songs for the album in mid september shows that WAS not true! Add to those inconsistencies, orb was also asked in early sept. what the album was about...orb had no idea...no answer! It only took orb a few weeks to come up with, "it's about the state of my marriage!" Clearly this MORE than expected reasoning, being such a mystery to orb for quite a while, shows how rudderless and meandering his stuff is!

maclen said...

...past post...

...so, it seems that a new song off the new cd available for download at itunes came... JUST IN THE NIC OF TIME...no pun intended! About a week or two ago, I commented how it looked as thought orb's first single had dropped off of digital download charts...Billboard...and at itunes orb's single isnt even in the top 100! And now it seems, at monkeylands most busy thread, "Urbanalysis for Put You In A Song on the Billboard Chart"...it seems the monkeys are beginning to be stressed that the new single may already be losing steam...and radio spins and requests! Also adding to that stress, Tim mcgraw's "Felt good on my lips"...a single off his greatest hits cd which was released a week AFTER orb's single in mid september...a song the monkeys slammed for being too weird...is poised to perhaps overtake the orb's single on the country song charts! So again, this new song becoming available for download may be an indication of how well they are...or aren't selling!

...ohhh...yeah right..."Long Summer Night" was the song co-written with Richard marx...you know...80's pin up has been...who himself also wrote "Wild Summer Nights" way back in 1988. So, orb's summer song is a derivative...of a dirivative of marx's rehash of The POlice and Greg Kihn hybrid! Pilfering from 70's and kihns early 80's clasics...via late 80's hasbeen marx! Typical...

Urban to play Cowboys game on Thanksgiving

"ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -Country singer Keith Urban will be the star of the halftime show during the Thanksgiving game between the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints.

Urban's performance will be part of the Salvation Army's Kettle Kickoff, the start of the organization's annual red-kettle fundraising campaign."

...so...back on topic...I actually found this story to be even more interesting...

http://www.onlykent.com/20101023/gwyneth-paltrow-set-to-perform-new-country-song-at-2010-cmas/

Gwyneth Paltrow Set to Perform New Country Song at 2010 CMAs

American actress Gwyneth Paltrow – best known for movies such as “Iron Man,” “Shallow Hal,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley” and “Shakespeare in Love” – is set to make her country music debut next month, when she performs at the 2010 Country Music Awards, ABC and the CMA have announced.
As reported by stabroeknews.com, the 38-year old star – who first showed off her singing talents in the movie “Duets” back in 2000 – will be performing the title track from her new movie “Country Strong,” which will see her play the role of a fallen country music star."

You will recall that paltrow was set to co-star with mutt in the now obviously defunct "Danish Girl" film earlier this year...but during the filming of this movie in Nashville, paltrow pulled out of the Danish Girl. Shortly afterwards a story came out that the reason paltrow pulled out of the Danish Girl was because kidman had "snubbed" paltrow...not bothering to visit paltrow in kidman's "so called" new home town. Well, with paltrow now set to perform at the CMA's...just as the interesting dynamic of napalm's appearence at country events and being basically snubbed by other participants not wanting to be seen miles from the napalm...it would be interesting to see if that rumored story is even remotely true! So, will "well known" and previous "besties" paltrow and kidman make an effort to STAY MILES away from each other that night? Will they pass up opportunities to be photographed with each other for promotional sakes? For if it is the case they do, then that rumored story MAY be true! Interesting to note...

So playing on National TV in front of millions of people on Thanksgiving is stripped down???
You also forgot to mention that the spokesperson for the Salvation Army had to say.

“This year, Keith Urban, one of the most popular music artists in the world, will kick-off the Red Kettle Campaign in style and we couldn’t be happier,” said Charlotte Jones Anderson, recently announced as the new Chairperson of The Salvation Army’s National Advisory Board. “We know Keith’s drive to share his voice with others, will connect with and encourage the American public to give generously and support the important work being done by The Salvation Army.”

FatSlob said...

To Tara, Richard Marx said the song was written a few months ago.

"“We hadn’t written in quite awhile, and we got together at a little rehearsal studio in Nashville a few months ago and nearly finished this song in about an hour."

I think you people's objectivity is blinded by your hatred for Nicole Kidman. According to critics and peers, she gives an Oscar worthy performance in Rabbit Hole. You might be taken seriously if you were honest once in a while.

The only person who says Keith has a girlfriend in Tara and she's been saying it for 5 years. Still trying to "give people hope"?

blue sky said...

I have to comment about about a few things:

Salvation Army - again, just because Keith is performing, doesn't mean I'm going to run out and give. It is the people standing beside the kettles singing Christmas carols that make me want to donate. Be realistic - Keith isn't the only one in Nashville to perform during the half-time show, and what is the purpose of doing this performance on Keith's end - to promote the new album. I still remember the year Shania was the act, and the whole family was around the TV. I know the guys won't be this year - especially if he sings PYIAS.

Girlfriend - who knows if he has one or not. This has been the only place I have read about a girlfriend - other than the possible blind items. All I can say is keep in mind this is a Hollywood marriage. Some will say, "but they live in Nashville!" That doesn't make a difference - she WAS married to Tom Cruise and will be forever Hollywood. My point is if this album is supposed to be about his wife, why are there some lyrics in some of the songs that aren't matching up to his wife?

FatSlob said...

Maybe because he didn't write the lyrics to all of the songs. The feeling of love and happiness is still in them.

You can actually like Keith Urban and criticize him. He is a public person who is making public statements.

Richard Marx was brought back in in 2006 to write with Keith. They wrote a number of songs Keith said in an interview so who knows if this song was doctored up for this record.

If you go back through his catalog can't you all see he can do better than with what he has been putting out. That is my big gripe he is a much better writer.

Fading Fan - I agree with you. I think it is safe to say that the majority of football fans are male. Yes, there are females, but there is no way they out-weigh the number of males, and I'd bet my check not too many adult males would get into listening to PYIAS during half-time of an NFL football game.

Do you talk to people like this when you're face to face with them? Or only when you're hiding behind a computer screen? I'm guessing the second one.

I'll get into ANY discussion with you about football or anything else. You don't know me and I doubt VERY much you would know what a football is if it hit you in the head. At least you admitted how joy-less your life and whatever marriage you have is. I guess that explains your need to hate someone who has a good one.

The thing that is clear on this blog is NOBODY can tell me what Keith Urban did to provoke 5 years of hate or why it would affect your lives so much. What could possibly be so important as to waste so much time on this stuff?

They won't tell you, noH8. They can't even say it outloud cause it will make them sound crazy. And they'll be faced with the fact that no matter what they think he did, they wasted 5 years of their life bitching about it.

Basically it's this: They were all huge fans of Keith and they liked that he was single. He got married to someone they don't like. Instead of either a) just listening to the music or b) moving on, they took it personally and decided to tear his wife apart. They would rather think he faked a marriage and a child than to admit he's actually happy and they'd rather think Nicole pays him to be her husband than admit he loves her. THEY don't love her therefore, Keith can't possibly love her.

See, they were wrong about him but they don't want to give up on their fantasies. So they made up more fantasies to justify why Keith would marry Nicole Kidman.

Just to mention Keith and Nicole have been together almost 5 years now. That's half the Tom and Nicole marriage. Maybe if they're lucky, they'll only have to wait another 5 years to see if that 10 year contract will be up.

so FF isn't allowed to speak for football fans but you are allowed to proclaim what a good marriage is. hello irony!

i wouldn't want to be in that marriage. i think nick is immoral and mental and ugly. i don't like her personality either not to mention it's all over the place but i already mentioned mental. i can't find anything nice to say about her because i don't see anything at all likable--she is absolutely repulsive to ME. but i guess SOMEONE possibly could be joyful in that situation. it just wouldn't be me. keith fooled me about who he was. they weren't a match in my eyes but he has changed to be like her (oddly and superficially) so he is such a shallow man and a huge disappointment to ME. and i guess other fans as well as i hear a lot of complaints.

he should have married his missing half. i couldn't find joy in marrying a stranger just to have a partner especially a partner that was desperately competing with her former spouse like everyone couldn't see that, HELLO!!! i couldn't stay married to someone just for the sake of a child either. children shouldn't have to carry the weight of a marriage either. (stupid, stupid, immature, stupid) i also wouldn't make radical changes at 40 to marry a man with money. see, i want true joy in life, joy from the heart. not the manufactured scripted from a marriage book. and i don't need affirmations like heart pics, stories of stretching heart fantasies and all that crap like nick kidman is in to.

i don't hate urb either but think it funny as hell that his plan to become more popular is backfiring on him. i guess it's because of his boastful attitude that he has so many outspoken ex fans. i think he has a huge ego and the money gave him false security. nick was well known by name but not popular, imo. i think she pays dearly to keep her name and now his too in print. it's like, everyone knows what the flu is too but nobody wants to catch it. he deliberately contaminated all his music with her... can't blame anyone but himself for the sales for falling... good thing he's got all tom's money to waste.

you are asking why his fans hate him or are carrying on about him 5 years later. more perplexing to me is how to remain a fan when a person changes in a lobotomized way. they don't meet your values any more and to stay fan fixated on them like an idol would be just weird noh12345678

his talent isn't anything special. there are many with talents and he doesn't have anything special, unique to offer anymore like he did in the beginning. the sound has changed and who wants to sing about Baby Girl, gag............

irony. you say ff can't speak for football fans but you are the marriage expert around here now, lol. you say it is a good marriage but i don't believe it is. but, i do believe it is textbook and affirmation driven. i don't believe it has been driven by the course of his life or his purpose.

my most intelligent guess is he has lost fans and sales probably due to the radical changes in him and his music.

he openly boasted how successful professionally and personally he was in 2006. i still hear him boasting. i just don't see it like he does.

neither his ego or money will save him from the fall. he will have to rely on her to save him, once again.

noh8, you shouldn't worry so much why we keep talking about him. we don't even require each other to explain why. it's understood. they say birds of a feather flock together which doesn't explain your purpose here.

what is not understood to me is how some can be so wrapped up in their idolization that they would be willing to change their values.

i'm not that concerned with what the peon fans are up to. keith is open to discussion because he is marketing a load of bs, imo.

Fading Fan, you said to NoH8

I wouldn't be surprised if you are some teenager who thinks they are all that.

So what if NoH8 is a teenager. It makes more sense for a teenager to like Keith Urban and be on the internet talking about him than for a group of 50 year olds hags. You should grow up. He's never going to like you anyway. I hope you don't have kids cause you're a terrible role model.

wow...

never exposed my naked body in front of strangers for attention, never exposed myself in front of kids, or make movies to appear naked in a bath with one, never collaborated with an atheist, never lowered myself to drag a miserable looking man down the isle because i was desperate, never tried to keep a relationship going with a man that was unfaithful to me. never had to force two men into counseling to stay around or leave. and you call us the hags. please stop the humor.

Anyone with any intelligence knows that you can't hate someone you don't know. The public version of Keith Urban is nothing more than an "image". No one on either side really knows who he is or what hes really like. What we do know is that he had a very different image that was apparently more appealing and much more convincing than the image he created since hooking up with NK. Many fans thought his former image wasn't an image at all, but the real Keith Urban. So of course there was disappointment. Why is that so difficult to understand? And what artist inserts their spouse into their career so that their creativity is only about that person? In order to be a fan of his music he leaves you no choice but to like his wife as he makes it all about her. That is not done out of "love", its done by design to benefit Keith. Well, not everyone likes that formula.

Celebrities are packaged and sold to the public. Its an IMAGE. You either like their product or you don't because thats what your paying for. But theres nothing wrong with discussing (or debating) what you don't like. Is it really fair to tell someone they shouldn't express their opinions? If you don't like it, don't read it. Simple, right?

That is the best comeback EVER!

Let's put it back on them, shall we? How about pretending to be skeptics just so they can find out who the skeptics are? Then they make it a daily mission to find out as much as they can about skeptics, as well as post lies about them. What normal person continues to defend people they don't know for five years? They are celebrities, not family members, so who cares if there are people in this world that don't adore Keith and Nic. Can't forget these people really have poor taste in music if they love the crap Keith is putting out these days or is just because he is so HOT . . . and that's another issue with these people.

Hannah said...

F.I.N.E and Fading Fan, thanks for confirming what a said. YOU don't like Nicole therefore Keith can't possibly like her either. Just because you were once a big fan, you think that gives you privy into his mind. You see miserable because you're looking for miserable. You want to think she's ruining his life because YOU don't like her. You see him falling because that's what YOU want to believe. You see him being manipulated because YOU can't believe he would honor THAT woman. You think he must be in a contract because YOU can't believe he would marry someone YOU don't like. You "hear" things because somebody makes up whatever it is YOU want to hear so she'll have an audience.

You said to think about it. I have and who Keith chose to marry doesn't affect me. I still like his music. If I didn't, I'd find somebody else. You both said he isn't the man you thought he was and his music is crap. So why still read everything about him, listen to his songs, and follow his life like a fan would? You said you wouldn't be in that marriage. YOU don't have to be.

You said you don't know how people can be wrapped up in their idolization that they would be willing to change their values. I have to laugh at who's talking values. Is trashing a woman, calling her mental and ugly and worse, is that showing some kind of values? You're putting yourselves pretty high on a moral pedestal for people who scour message boards just to say something nasty about the wife your hero chose, not to mention his child.

Now you think about it. Take a step back and read what you write. "He should have married his missing half." Exactly my point. Nicole isn't the girl YOU wanted him to marry.

You said "more perplexing to me is how to remain a fan when a person changes in a lobotomized way. they don't meet your values any more and to stay fan fixated on them like an idol would be just weird"

More perplexing to me is how a person who doesn't like anything about another person still stay fixated on them. THAT is just weird.

You wrote,

"I want true joy in life"

I hope you find it but you're not going to find it moaning about Keith Urban's marriage everyday. But you're probably right about one thing: birds of a feather, flock together. You found a small group of disillusioned people like yourselves who agree with each other and pat each other on the back for reading into photographs and songs exactly like you want to think. Unfortunately for you, there's real life out there and you're missing it. Keith and Nicole are not. So in the end, you lose twice.

You think fans care what you think but you've got a reputation as a bunch of old crazy broads. Everybody's seen your pictures. Everybody knows about Tara and her visions from the cornfields. You're like the crazy uncle everybody laughs at and ignores. But we do understand how empty and lonely your real life must be and for that, we're sorry.

Everybody . . . everybody . . . everybody . . . hmmm, if nobody is reading this stuff, how does everybody know about us?

The outside world does not know there are people who don't adore Keith nor do they care - even though you think they do. I appreciate you making us out to be famous though, but to call us crazy old broads . . . really . . . do you want to go there? Because I really don't care what you think of us either considering you are probably one of those crazy old broads who decorate their homes with pictures of Keith. Or are you one of those crazy old broads making buckeyes or scrapbooks for Keith? No, no, I bet you are one of those crazy old broads standing by Keith's bus for hours and hours and take pictures standing by the door? Perhaps you are the crazy old broad who gives Keith's CDs as Christmas gifts to all of your relatives. Talk about wanting to laugh behind your back! Look in the mirror! I'll guarantee that your family laughs at your obsession for Keith when you aren't in the room.

The list could go on and on, but who are the crazy old broads?

Finally, no LynZ this:

Delusions, grandeur and paranoia at its finest.

describes an obsessed fan protecting their idol.

Uh huh.

You know it's funny that you described just about every skeptic when they were a fan. Keith's picture as their wallpaper, standing by the bus for hours, wrapping themselves in bows for Keith to untie, stalking hotels and stagedoors, getting friendly with the crew members, leaving their families to follow him around to different cities and of course "Picture of the Day". Ah the flippage.

You ain't fooling a soul, sweetie.

hannah, normally i don't result to putting down another blogger but your aims at analyzing me showcases your stupidity.

i think keith has bonded with his wife plenty much and don't believe this is even a contract marriage. but, see i haven't even put down others for believing those things for i am open to other ideas without criticism.

you on the other hand act like a blazing irrational idiot with all your assumptions not to mention attacks on bloggers. i'm sure most everyone here has ran into you on the internet more than they care to. you have steadily tried to classify everyone because you believe that will give you an advantage to put them down. but this blog isn't about YOU or even ME. there was a blog for criticism such as yours but no one was interested, snicker.

but i will continue to shoot down your false assumptions about ME this one time and hopefully you will be embarrassed enough just to stfu. i was NEVER a big fan as you claim. i don't listen to his music anymore either except in discussion on boards. he lost my devotion to his music in 2005. i absolutely do believe he honors nick but don't there is anything about her deserving merit or honor and especially the outpouring of God given talent (but that is his spiritual life, not mine) i have never spoke evil of the little girl as you accuse me. i feel sorry for her in fact. nick herself is responsible for her own behavior over the course of her life that doesn't bring me to her level by discussing it.

you obviously have a very limited vocabulary that you don't realize the word "values" is also used differently than you concluded because you took it out of context.

you have absolutely no idea how i do or could find joy in my life and you couldn't bless me anyway.

btw, i'm not a crazy old broad as you would like to think and if you would open your eyes you would see nick isn't a girl either.

again, you are completely irrational in your thinking. the posers trying to act like skeptics to discredit them have been obvious for a long time. the multiple screen names of one or two are very obvious too.

you appear to be lacking in necessary insight to understand other people. so i ask, what's wrong with you... do you not have the ability to see and communicate anything but from your own direction?

i'm done with your immature posts.
you can post all you want and continue to look stupid... it's your call.

btw, there might be a few people who voted for the pres who were disappointed and might even be blogging against him and following his dealings. why don't you go set them straight and give us a break!

It makes sense for a fan to do the things you write about, blue sky. She might be an obsessed fan protecting her idol but you're an obsessed ex-fan who can't let her idol go. It's normal for a fan to research & blog about her idol. It's not normal for an ex-fan to spend so much time doing the same thing then hatin on him. It sounds like you're in denial.

blue sky said...

Here's another one to add to the list Fading Fan. I bet they are the crazy old broads that rip off meet & greet stickers from fans before a show because God forbid someone else gets to be face-to-face with their precious Keith! Sorry, it shouldn't be crazy old broads - it should be psycho old broads! Keith would be so proud of how some of his fans treat other fans.

blue sky said...

Maeve, you, as usual, are incorrect I really don't spend much time researching Keith anymore. I just read what is blogged or posted on here. I even forgot it was his birthday the other day. And again, when did I ever say I hated him? Please find the EXACT comment on here when I said I hate him! You're starting to look like a fool!

In denial? Denial of what? That he hasn't won a major country music award in how long? That he has a hard time getting a song to #1 anymore? That there are many artists in Nashville that crush him in album sales? That his wife is box office poison and the jokes of many when it comes to her [natural] face. What am I in denial about?

I just love watching these two make fools of themselves - just like his fans!

Oh F.I.N.E. now you're just rambling but it's cute how you're trying to sound smart. Not working but still cute. Hey, I'm just answering NoH8's question and telling it like it is. You use to be a fan and then he married Nicole Kidman and you don't like him anymore but you can't get over him. I can't help it if you don't want to see yourself that way. "He should have married his other half". "He lost my devotion to his music in 2005." "The posers trying to act like skeptics to discredit them". Im sorry if my posts sound stupid and immature but, well, I've been quoting you.

Talking about multiple screen names is laughable coming from a skeptic.

I don't know what the comment about the president is about but it's further proof that you're losing your marbles.

Blue sky, here's another one to add to the list. Crazy old skeptics that use their mentally challenged children to get meet and greet passes for themselves. Yes, you should be sooooo proud.

Fading Fan, what's sad is that it is true! This has happened at several venues. You also get interrogated about how YOU got a M&G pass!

Hannah, mentally challenged children? I have none! However I do know that in some cases music soothes mentally challenged children, so was it for the benefit of the parent or the child?

keith has confirmed that nick was the unattainable person he was looking for. he believes he is the poor boy and she is the princess. we already know he believed she "saved" him. we have all witnessed his tears as he made his dedications.

it brought to mind this similar to statement.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/11/15/sunday/main5658579.shtml

"Praying that someone would, like, save us from the abyss of nothingness," Urban said. "Invariably, nothing would happen.

i now am positive his main purpose and drive was to validate his success in a financial way even by marriage.

no he didn't get a good match for his personality. he got a good match for his issue (guessing obvious disorder here). she is a textbook narcissist and he has confirmed he believed he was inferior (poor boy). don't know what role he plays in the marriage... is he the servant to the narcissist? does he believe by serving her that he has been delivered out of nothingness? i would really like to hear an expert opinion on this relationship. i wonder what nick's dads thinks about this relationship, gag. i just have a sick feeling after thinking about it. this smells of a real dysfunctional relationship.

no wonder keith's family is never seen around. how can they even stand to be around him.

who would want to even listen to his music knowing his muse is a narcissist. this music is about the love of money and fame not about the love of a person at all.

no wonder these two clowns have been digging deep 365 x 5.

F.I.N.E. - I love your findings, and I have to agree with you completely. It happened while he was in "rehab". He said it himself - he surrendered. We aren't the only ones who have noticed. There's a reason why he is on every pussy-whipped list. Like I said on the other blog where you posted this as well, this is NOT a true love relationship.

He really has a poor image of himself, and it is obvious what Nic thinks of herself. Off camera at red carpet events, it has been witnessed that he begs for her attention, and she doesn't give it - similar to a puppy begging for attention. When the camera turns on, then she pays attention to him. You hate to say it, but he will crash hard one day.

Tara said...

Its much easier to fixate all that is on someone else rather than do the work on oneself. Keith seems to be taking that easier road if based on the interviews and statements like the current one. Too bad he might like the person he is once he discovers that.

I however will differ because I do believe a lot of the fawning is an act. I think we have two people who live fairly separate lives. By separate it could be physically or emotionally and even intellectually. I do think Keith is a lot smarter than what he shows himself to be.

I have heard at places where they are in public they have little interaction and both seem fine with that. But when the camera is on they both go goo goo over the other. Could you imagine hanging with someone and not talking and being indifferent?
