Well, of course...any country act NOT playing this gig would no doubt be publicly hung in "effigy"...or even in Nashville! (sorry couldnt resist the lame joke) As to this...

Brad Paisley donates $100,000 to flood relief

"Keith Urban also performed without a band, choosing to do an acoustic version of The Beatles' song "Help."

...No doubt the orb's mangling of another Beatles cover is clearly a personal affront directed at me! Ha! But seriously, this part is sheer "PR hackery" CLEARLY learned from the inept book of kidman... quote...

"Before performing a second song, "Better Life," he recounted his personal flooding experience.

"We certainly weren't spared, our place out in Franklin, we had quite a bit of damage out there, and other than a lot of my musical equipment which floated down the river toward Smyrna, I think is where it was seen last, it's just been a very moving experience for me," he said."

...yes, orb...this benefit is ALL ABOUT YOU...everyone is truly interested in how the flood ruined your guitar collection...you got that in at the CNN interview 4 whole days after the flood began...you know, when you learned you wouldnt be able to record on MOnday...and you went on tv on tuesday to get that info out...so how about your carpets...surely you've received your estimates by now huh? Yes, you play the "I personally feel your pain" about as well...and just as transparently disingenuously as kidman does for her half assed work for the UN ambassadorship!

I thought it was a good show and thankfully it raised lots of money for a good cause.

Keith did a great job. I thought he did something unique with his song selection and he was obviously well received, by the sounds of the audience.

Nice job by one and all. They will need help for some time to come.

Ummn, Dierks Bentley recounted how his basement was flooded. He even mentionned how he went back out on the road two days after the flooding and only got back into town yesterday. What kind of Nashvillian is he? To leave when the city needed him the most? Talk about making it all about him?? Kenny Chesney sent a video tape showing his flooded property. He's not on tour, he couldn't make it into the studio? Talk about it being Me, me, me!! Actually not. I'm just showing how ridiculous the above statement is. "Keith making it all about him". By recounting their own experiences I think they were saying we're all in this together. You're not alone. Keith also told of a flood he lived through as a child. Keith did a great job with the song. It was appropreiate for the situation. He didn't sing his current single or biggest hit as some other performers did. He put thought into his performance. He's appeared at two of the telethons, manned the phones at both and mentioned the flooding/ Nashville needing money on Jimmy Fallon. I think he's done more then his fair share.

...ps...

...another quick thought...hoosier... you ALMOST called another one...orb didnt land on mining a "mcCartney" cover...not nessessarily...but did land on a Beatles cover! Hmmm...orb gigging with The Eagles this summer...then a Stones cover earlier this week on Fallon...now a Beatles cover at this benefit...hey, you don't think the orb is revealing some sort of "conserted" pattern...and is he now getting all "jiggy" with a "classic rock" vibe meme or something? Well, I would certainly say the the orb is done with his "teen and tween" phase of DS. I just wonder now if his next cd will include anymore mining of this obvious "classic rock" trend...he certainly needs to find somenthing...anything!

maclen said...

And in this "E-o'-L-N-M's"

...a very special message from the orb...courtesy of the imcomparable Mr. John Lennon...

"Help, I need somebody,
Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors."

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me?"

-Help!
The Beatles
1965

...hey take a chill pill orb...they're only guitars dude! When lennon wrote those very personal lyrics, he was speaking to his own personal feeling of being awash...almost engulfed by the tital wave of extra-ordinary and... to which I say with NON hyperbole...freakish adulation! I surely wouldnt think that such a cleary personal statement on a "singular" persons emotion is such a good fit for a benefit that has effected SO MANY other people...and to such a far greater...and tragic manner. But I of course, see it as your attempt to make it "about how it affects you"...in a twisted belief that "making it personal" somehow gets people to "see you" as just like them...and therefore more "identifiable." But take another cue from the late great John Lennon, who in 1972 had become very politically aware...and when he heard of the case of political activist John Sinclair's imprisonment...performed at a benefit on Sinclair's behalf and sang a song specifically written for the occasion...a song called "John Sinclair"....that began..

"It ain't fair, John Sinclair
In the stir for breathing air
Won't you care for John Sinclair?
In the stir for breathing air
Let him be, set him free
Let him be like you and me."

-John Lennon
Some Time in New York City
1972

...and NOT...

"It ain't fair, John Lennon
In the stir for breathing air
Won't you care for John Lennon?
In the stir for breathing air
Let me be, set me free
Let me be like you and him."

...it may be subliminal...to most...but it's quite clearly there!

Imahick, Yes they all did a nice thing, but Keith ruined when he brought in his own personal damage done to him. People don't care what happen to his guitars or his house. Then to make a joke about was distasteful. His guitars and stuff can be replaced. Human life can't. Keith and Nicole don't care about the "normal" people. Those people are beneath them.

Then he just had to make sure everyone knew that his wife was right there. He only did this for PR and that is that. He didn't stay the whole three hours. They were gone the first hour. All the other stars were there for all three hours. They both accomplished what they wanted pr for the both of them.

All the other stars there never talked about what happened to them. Only other one I saw was Dierks Bentley. He was asked about his house. He didn't want to talk about it and quickly went back to the people needing help.

Best performance of the whole night was by Lady Antebellum.

Tara said...

I think Keith did fine job. Interesting that Kidman couldn't show
for the first local event but showed up for this one that was on national TV.
I think he has every right as I do any one who had some issues with the flooding to talk about how it affected them.

notachance said...

Not all stars stayed for all 3 hours. Not all stars got tv time or even their name mentioned for their time on the phones. I know I saw James Otto working the phones and around 10 I saw that he was gone from there based on tweets. Keep in mind, this was a Brad Paisley event.

I have no fault with what Keith did last night. He put thought into his performance and that's what counts. I loved the song selection. I also loved what Dierks did, he also put thought into song selection (geez, I sound like an AI judge now).

And how 'bout that Chris Rodriguez w/ Keb Mo? Was that a surprise for everyone or am I just out of the loop?

123xyz said...

Others talked about their experiences. Keith was not the only one. He made a joke at his own expense. Laughter (and he did get laughs from the audience) is good for the soul. He also got a standing ovation from the "normal people", he doesn't care about. For people who continue to say Keith is no savior, don't put him on a pedistal, he's nothing special. Why do you all expect him to walk on water and nothing less will do?? There are many, many other big name Nashvillians that haven't done anything. Why is more expected of Keith, then from others?
As for why Kidman wasn't at the first telethon, you know the answer to that TL, she was still filming in Hawaii. Should she have shut down production, so she could answer the phones? I can only imagine what would have been said if she had done that. If she didn't show up last night, it would have been "See she doesn't care about Nashiville". She shows up and it's "See it's all about PR for them. They don't care about Nashville". They can't win. They did a good thing, they helped raise money for a good cause. Why isn't that enough?
As for Keith's guitars, yes monitarily then can be replaced but those exact same guitars can't be replaced. For musicians their instruments are very important to them. Some actually buy plane tickets for them rather then put them in baggage. They are special to them for the songs that were written on them or the shows they played on them. Or for who they belonged to before they aquired them. Or maybe they had the instrument signed by other musicians. Those things can't be replaced. Maclen, as someone who claims to be so knowledgeable about music and the history of it, you know it's not just about the lost of "some guitars".

123xyz said...

That's right Notachance. I also saw Holly Williams. The female from Steel Magnolia and Billy Dean. Again, whatever everyone else does, Keith has to do more. He has to go above and beyond. He has to stay longer then everyone else and it still won't be enough for these people. This was a Brad Paisley event. Can you imagine if Keith had taken this on and like Brad Paisley's wife, Kidman had been the co-host??? All Hell would have broken loose but it was OK for Kimberly Williams Paisley to co-host. Why?? I mean, I'm not against Kim doing it but why the double standard?

I had actually missed, shall we say, orb making light of his equipment last "seen floating down the river toward Smyrna." Again, appropriate actions... and in this case a joke about his "floating equipment" is paramount here, and that does strike me as rather callous. I mean, I'm very sure relatives of people who were killed by the flooding who were watching the benefit found that so hilarious! Or perhaps orb gave no thought whatsoever that his little joke may have put the thought in those unfortunate people's mind an unwanted image...that orb's floating equipment "seen floating down the river toward Smyrna"...just may have been floating along side unfortunate human bodies? It is a given that charitable deeds are "noble"...but it is a slippery slope when the hint of "personal gain" creeps into the mix.

...so...here's kidman getting her "photo op" in at the benefit...

http://www.gettyimages.com/Search/Search.aspx?EventId=98870353&EditorialProduct=Entertainment

...and no less...answering phones! Well, when you consider that kidman was able to wrangle an "on air speaking part" at the clooney organized Haiti telethon...and so DID NOT bother to man the phones...evidently kidman WAS NOT able to wrangle a "starring role" in this country telethon...so she had to slog on the phones to get her "Promo" close ups in! Look how "jolly" the promo couple look...there at a party! Yes, smile and look AT the photographers...and be sure they get your best sides, eh?

Let's get one thing straight - Kimberly has the personality to host a show like this. Nicole has no personality or ability to host - she can't even carry on an interview. When Kimberly has presented at the awards shows, she has always been charming and funny. With Nicole, you get the deer-in-the-headlights look!

Tara said...

I would think if the man that saved me from my terrible terrible void that was my life suffered a loss like Kidman's husband did I would be on the first plane to my hometown to see if I could help. Nope shooting that cameo in the movie was far more important than helping her husband.

She could give two hoots in hell for Nashville- she did her part now she is on to China to be a movie star. Sorry but she is an opportunist and a fake.

When did she first show up in Nashville oh bunny ones?

123xyz said...

You do realize that she was under contract. She couldn't just leave the set. To shut down production would cost millions but why let that little detail stop you.

abc said...

I wonder how Nicole felt when a caller (at GAC) she received asked her to put them on to Keith and he took over the call? Especially given she hated being in Tom's slipstream; a place she doesn't take to too kindly. (i.e. in the shadow of a spouse).

If Nicole REALLY meant what she said about not having a "burning desire anymore to make movies", then she would have been with her husband at home in Nashville when he was "really moved" by the crisis instead of being otherwise occupied making a flimsy meaningless run-of-the-mill B-grade movie. But as she has also said: "life goes on", and by life, she means making movies: any movie!

ps: these are quotes I heard with my own ears in video interviews. so the potential accusations of "lying" can stay right where they are: in the heads of the trolls. thank-you very much.

btw: surprised she didn't make a cash donation given it is her own hometown and she only apparently made a token/short appearance at the phone-in. unless of course she/they insisted that any donation be kept secret. I am sure, that unlike many in Tenn, they had flood insurance.

I do agree with some commenters here that the lost guitars did have sentimental value but then, the many who lost lifetimes' worth of archives and records will feel just as bereft, if not more. Family history is a little more important than who played what guitar at the end of the day. Just M.O.

Well said Imahick!

Blue Sky; you are right: Nic's entire career was based on the 'deer in the headlights' look/angle - reaching a peak with Chanel. Now that that is over, it's down to the crumbs. However, my jury is still out until I see Rabbit Hole (if ever released), and Danish Girl, if ever made. Think I'll be giving JGWI a miss, as i do with all JA films, and after seeing Anger Management, Sandler's too.

A440 said...

As much as I hate to cut Kidman slack, I'll agree with 123 in that she simply cannot walk out of her contract. Short of her home being truly wrecked or Keith injured, there wasn't any reason to leave the set. Keith and her other minions had the situation covered.

But still I cringe when I see her "charitable" phone call photo. Even in a seemingly unscripted moment, watching Keith speak to a donor, she's got her game face on, chin resting on hand and posed -- just so -- for the camera.

This woman is a fraud. And that's putting it kindly.

blue sky said...

After reviewing the pictures on maclen's link, I have to agree with A440, she is a fraud. When you go through all the pictures on that site and others, who is on the phone smiling and looking right into the camera? Now compare that to the other celebrities who were answering the phones - they were there doing what they were supposed to be doing. I would also like to give a shout out to Adam Richman! I didn't know he was there as I didn't watch the program because I don't have GAC at my house! You rock Adam!

music said...

"I would also like to give a shout out to Adam Richman! I didn't know he was there as I didn't watch the program because I don't have GAC at my house! You rock Adam!"

Adam Richman was funny! And he wrote a personal check for $3,600 as it was his 36th B-Day. I thought it was a nice gesture.

I can't fault KUNK for keeping the amount of any donations that they've made quiet. If they did it publicly, it does seem like it would cause a stir, ie - not enuf, or if big - doing it only for the publicity ala Taylor Swift.

On Keith's joke about his equipment floating down the river to Smyrna, I have to add that Smyrna is nowhere near the Cumberland River... Picky, picky, I know.

maclen said...

Kidman is an extreme "publicity monger"...by even the glutenous standards of Lalaland! Her long list of film promo "revelations" are numerous...she will "retire" and "settle down" when she "finds love again, and is remarried"

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-181277/Nicole-ready-retire-love.html?ITO=1490

Nicole: ready to retire for love

"The Hollywood star said she would step back from her hugely successful career when she settled down with a new partner.
"I probably won't do this for the rest of my life - there's other things that interest me," Kidman told a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival.
"I think probably when I fall in love, that's when I'll stop doing as much of this because I'll want to settle down again."

...well, I guess after 4 years of marriage..."LOVE" or perhaps being married to orb is NOT enough to quite make her feel she wants to retire or settle down! But then, of course she made it clear that having a baby didnt give her that urge to settle down, as she made clear in the UK's GQ...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1225066/Nicole-Kidman-reveals-love-life-kinky-opens-strange-sexual-fetish-encounters.html

...‘I’d just given birth, so I was like “OK, I’m [still] a woman – I want to do this film. And I do have a life other than simply feeding this baby”,’ she said.
I think when you give birth you get itchy to get back to work and you want to feel life still goes on.

...but I guess all that "kinky fetish stuff" got in the way...and kidman feeling that having her baby was "the end of her life"...and that only making another film could help her feel her life has some kind of meaning! Because every new mom believes they "do have a life other than simply feeding this baby

Yes, kidman is very notorious for these ridiculous "film promo revelations"...that never seen to stick beyond the film she is shilling comes out and fizzles

Thanks for the 411 on Adam's contribution, music. Not bad for a somewhat unknown show host!

He made it all about him?!? Whatever! He said a few things about his gear and his house, so what? You people are CRAZY. Dierks talked about his house being flooded, so did Kenny, and Brad did in a article he wrote for Billboard, does that mean they're making the disaster all about THEM too?? Jesus Christ, get a life people! You're only trying to find negative things to say about Keith so you come up with ridiculous shit like that. He played a song that fit well with the current state of Nashville and he did a damn good job too. He answered phones AND i've read he went down to the Country Music Hall of Fame museum and helped clean up. Get the hell over it. He's doing way more than you haters are.

I agree with this. Can't we see just the positive & not put a negative spin on a telethon to help the people, ALL people of Tennessee, who were hit by this flooding. Really, so he mentioned his loss, so others mentioned their losses, so they brought up about famous locations & cherished buildings being flooded they also showed MANY MANY MANY non famous, regular people who have lost everything. It was NOT about the stars it was about a city & a state asking for help. I am from south Lousiana. When Katrina hit to our East we weren't directly affected but it was my state & it did affect me in that way. When Rita hit about a month later to the west of us we still weren't directly affected but a LOT of our family members were. It wasn't about individuals it was about us as a state & as a family. That's what this telethon was about---a state, citizens (ALL of them) of that state & yes (Nothing to be ashamed about) A musical family. A disaster hits & I don't look at who said what or who did what, I look at what help comes in as a whole & what good comes out of a horrible situation. THANKS Keith, Nicole, Dierks, Brad, Martina and all famous & NON famous people that helped Tennessee in any way, shape or form. It was a wonderful state to visit & I will definitley try to get back there very soon for another visit.

To bring up an old addage..."if dierks or chesney or paisley were to jump off a cliff, would that make it all right for orb to jump off as well? Just because I constantly mock orb with his pale comparison to swifty's current mammoth cd sales...as compared to his lackluster sales, doesn't necessarily mean it's wise for orb to try to woo the "teen/tween" set...it would be just a rather pitiful result... case in point..."Defying Sales!" "Everyone does it" is hardly a convincing defense when his "star" is so clearly on the descent.

Yes? So is that the latest "hot topix" over at monkeyland? Cause it surely is NOT "Defying Sale's...well...defying sales! Country singles are ALL those monkeys have left of any hope to look forward to regarding cletus. Yes, that and catching cletus live...well, that's all well and good for the fansies...but looking as how the country singles charts are predominantly based on country stations "requests" for spins... and therefore give the monkey's a ray of any kind of hope...I dont put much stock in the monkey's concerted "fansie site" campaign of robocalling stations...all so they can proclaim "yippee!" on the fansie site... or even here at the "cynic orb myth" site! And really, based on the orb's last performance at last months ACM awards...that I commented at the time...

"..so hey, what up with those slack boned monkeylanders...not getting the orb "Entertainer" in the online voting of the ACM awards!? What...they didnt "toss enough cookies" to get the cletus the prize? Could it be that the orb fansies are at such a ridiculously low number these days, he never had a chance? And will no longer win at these robo-voting online polls?"

...I'm betting the monkey-army is at this point getting to be very very sparse!

maclen said...

In this "E-o'-L-N-M's"...

...So to continue with the "topix" of the monkeylanders...it seems the fansie site has a new "home page"...a seeming new PR "campaign" attached to the new single off of "Defying Sales." Seems kind of strange...considering I would occasionally peruse the monkeysite for a few giggles...that there wasnt this elaborate a PR campaign for the first 4 singles released off this cd. Well, take a ganger...when you venture into www.keithurban.net/...instead of going to the usual home page with the "JUKEBOX"..."NEWS" and "RECENT VIDEOS"...you are now sent to this page....

KEITH URBAN I'M IN

"Are you "in?" We want to hear your "I'm In" story! Tell us about your commitment to your significant other, your dedication to a charity or how you've made a difference in someone's life. No matter how you define being "in," send us your photo, video and story.

Your "I'm In" stories will be featured here on the "I'm In" Community Page, with different ones being highlighted every week. We'll randomly select stories. Those who submit will have a chance to receive song downloads, signed CDs and concert tickets. Get started today sharing your "I'm In" story!

Click on the photos and videos below to see how others are "in!"

Now again, seems strange for this elaborate a campaign simply for the 5th single off a pretty lackluster cd and mediocre seller. But it's clear what the intention is...and the purpose of this "Join the I"M IN COMMUNITY" And it does pertain to my last comment regarding the orb's dwindling "monkey-army." This is obviously a "recruitment campaign"...an attempt to replenish those aforementioned depleting fansies! You know...those 1.2mil former fansies who did NOT buy orb's last cd, Defying Sales. So they want you to "submit your own I'm In stories....AND "have a chance to receive song downloads, signed CDs and concert tickets. Yessiree, offering free stuff will certainly guarentee a stampede of new partygoers, eh? So it seems the monkeys are desperate...but at least they are at the moment slightly better off than those kidman addicts...the NKUseless...who have given up and have hidden themselves away from "prying eyes' to the abject failure and the embarrassing film roles kidman is now most assuredly reduced to. For it was no coincidence that the addicts site shut off the fansies comments to prying eyes just after the disgust and rancor over kidman possibly playing second fiddle to Disney moppet selena gomez in Monte carlo by more than a few commenters. And no doubt the opinions of kidman playing second fiddle in a sandler flick and the clear shambles that kidman's own film rabbit hole is in...and the hopelessness of Danish Girl had the fansies finally running for cover!

hoosierlady said...

Ha! yes hoosier...you can buy "scalped" tickets to his gigs...at ridiciulously inflated prices! Now actually, having re-read my comment this morning...that the line...

"Those who submit will have a chance to receive song downloads, signed CDs and concert tickets. Get started today sharing your "I'm In" story!"

...seems actually, NOT to be promising FREE STUFF! But as I read it originally last night, "enter your story and you may win free stuff." But it seems the monkeylanders are only promising if you enter a story...and IF you become a member "at a reasonable price!" you may PURCHASE "song downloads, signed cds and concert tickets"... from the fawnsite! So I wonder how many other people who may have actually submitted stories...and then wondered if they will maybe win something...will also come to that realization?

Apparently, KUNK made it over to Hong Kong so Nic could shill for Omega and favor UNIFEM supporters with her presence. According to one report, she will "invite" her hapless husband to perform for the attendees.

Guess that house in Franklin didn't really take "quite a bit of damage," as Keith said. If my house had "quite a bit of damage," I'd make that my first priority and oversee repairs. But for Keith, it's singing for his wife's acolytes.

Must be due to Nic's latest dicta: they cannot be separated for more than three days. Three days, now.

Pathetic.

Pathetic that she constantly harps on it, and pathetic if there's any truth to it.

And so here she is again, she is "slowing down for family"...So the danish girl is delayed NOT because paltrow ditched the film a month before it is set to film... and I presume Rabbit Hole has disappeared because kidman wants to "slow down?" Yeah, that is sooooo believable! Again, kidman has been clearly "slowing down" the past few years...but not because she "CHOSES" to slow down...but because she is a failure in film and basically, no one apparently wants to work with her...not theron...not alfredson...not sean penn in the valerie plame biopic...and actually apparently director limon..either...who even claims that Naomi watts was his FIRST..and only choice to star in Fair Game!

http://hollywood-elsewhere.com/2010/05/liman_hits_town.php

"Fair Game director Doug Liman, who arrived in Cannes last night, did an American Pavillion q & a about two hours ago with USA Today's Anthony Breznican. In the clip below he talks about his reasons for casting Naomi Watts as outed CIA spy Valerie Plame, above and beyond physical resemblance."

Limon claims watts was his FIRST and ONLY choice to play plame...which of course is not in fact the case.

Doug Liman Talks Valerie Plame Biopic

February 14, 2008
"Nicole Kidman. She's perfect if you've ever met Valerie. Nicole was supposed to play Jane Smith in 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith.' We owe a movie together! That's an unrequited thing between me and an actor where I fell in love with them for a role and never get to consummate it."

But then I understand completely Liman would want to forget that bit of nonsense!

So, kidman wants to "slow down" for her family...so she immediately jumps on a plane for Hong Kong to shill watches...

http://www.zimbio.com/Nicole+Kidman/articles/GJVDuxz4lEx/Nicole+Kidman+Radiant+Hong+Kong

Nicole Kidman is Radiant in Hong Kong

"Nicole Kidman was a dazzling beauty while in Hong Kong to celebrate the opening of a new Omega store. Nicole, the brand's ambassador, wore a figure-grazing dark blue sheath with ruching on the shoulders and a slim black bow."

..and as I so clearly stated in the past...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1279998/Nicole-Kidman-gives-post-baby-lift.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

Nicole Kidman gives herself a post-baby lift

"She claims to be slowing down these days - but something definitely appeared to be up with Nicole Kidman at a charity gala today..."Nicole, 42, was appearing at the A Night With The Stars function, which was put on to raise funds for the United Nations Development Fund for Women.

...and that is...kidman DOES not do anything for charity unless she has a PR stake of her own involved She's there to shill her watches...obviously her new profession seeing as she's "slowing down" in films...BUT...she will do a drive-by for the UN as a side gig! And Orb has become the exact same half assed, charity exploiting and PR opportunist animal as kidman! Now, as I imagine the kidman addicts at the NKuseless site must be horrified at the other part of kidman's appearence at the watch shilling gig...kidman's ridiculous boob job was apparent to all last year! Addicts hold your head low at the ridiculousness of kidman!

The Australian actress took to the red carpet at a bash in Hong Kong wearing a daring plunging black dress. Despite not wearing a bra, the flame-haired star certainly seemed to be enjoying a boost in the chest department - surprising considering she's not known for her curves."

"Apparently, KUNK made it over to Hong Kong so Nic could shill for Omega and favor UNIFEM supporters with her presence. According to one report, she will "invite" her hapless husband to perform for the attendees."

WHAT!? The "Hapless" orb is getting sucked into kidman's shameless exploitation of the UN gig to "help" as she shills for Omega at the exact same time?! But...the orb does not shill for personal PR at a charity event, right? As I've said, repeat after me...in just recent comments...orb is learning from kidman on how to shamelessly and cynically extract "personal" PR from, yes, even charity events!

There is a time and place NICOLE:

Ok, I just saw the candid pix of our little Nicole with her big girl boobies out for the trip to the UN PR gig, and I have a question for all of the KU fans.

I do not know much about your main man, (thankfully), so I ask, please enlighten me. I know he dated Nikki Taylor, a lovely woman, a Christian, lovely children, seems like a truly intelligent and upright person. Prior to that he was engaged? to someone I know nothing about. I have heard he was quite the cad, how shall we put it, lose as a long necked goose, yep, that pretty well says it all, so my question to you, after seeing his beloved, his better half, his Yoko, his Venus, his everything, baring her new bosom is:

Does he like them trashy?

Thanks,

Hoosierlady

Hoosier, clearly "trashy" does not even come close to covering kidman's laugable revolving looks. As I just mentioned over at NK journey, who had the pics of kidman's recent bulging "b-cup" saucers...kidman's looks are really of a truly bad tranny. She is so "tucked and strapped" into her clothes...she has flaps of skin sticking out of bizzare areas! As I commented at NK journey... it looks like she has another arm growing just below her left armpit! And I do imagine the Nk addicts, all huddled in their "crack dens"...must clearly be besides themselves over kidman's reiterating of her tired "slowing down" for the sake of the family...and how once again her bulging implants have made another ridiculous appearance... to the amusement of the Daily Mail!

Hoosierlady, its common knowledge that Keith had an eight year relationship with Laura Sigler, a Veterinary assistant. It is reported that he proposed to her in 2001 and they broke up in 2002. He then was said to have dated (by some reports, on and off) Niki Taylor until 2004. Some say that relationship was also headed to the alter. What is interesting is that in both cases, over a ten year period, both relationships were kept private and out of the media.

Keith Urban "the womanizer" came to light AFTER he hooked up with NK. Some say that she put the word out to make it seem that she was the only woman capable of "taming him". You know, because she was so desirable.

By all accounts, NK was not his type. The double D women in his audience always caught his eye.

Its not hard to figure out what he saw in NK, is it?

Kidman was his fourth engagement.

No joke.

From what I hear-tell, there was nothing trashy about Laura Sigler. One man who met her during her Keith years called her "classy" and "intelligent."

I have no info on Angie Marquis, but you can Google her and make your own determination. To me, she looks like a typical middle-aged woman with bleached hair and a broad smile. She was described in Jeff Apter's bio as "tough as guts."

No he doesn't like trash, but he does love money and Kidman's pocketbook is very large. The other two couldn't give him anything but love. It doesn't take rocket science to figure out why he chose this one as a life partner.

hoosierlady, Keith doesn't care if they are trashy or not. Only thing he sees is how much money they have. He used Laura, Nikki, and he has used Nicole too. He wants a women that can take care of him and he doesn't have to worry about were the next dime comes from. That is why I really think he married Nicole. He didn't have to worry at all. Also look at the last three Cd's. They are bad. He don't care. He doesn't need his music career anymore. He is Mr. Nicole Kidman now.
