Blind Item from Crazy Days & Nights

Is there any doubt this is Kidman?

Today's Blind Items - The Actress

The actress I am going to discuss today has actually been in a blind in the past few weeks. She was not the star, but was a player in one of the blinds and perhaps if you put this piece of the puzzle together with another piece it will all fall into place because several of these definitely connect.

Let me start off by saying that this actress is A list. Huge star. Academy Award winner. Quite possibly also the coldest person on the planet. The only emotion you will ever see from this actress is on the set. Even when she has something truly awful happen to her, she shows nothing on the outside. Rage on the inside and she will make you pay, but solid calm on the outside.

Anyway, our actress has been married before. She is also currently married. Our actress has had a plan from day 1. Not day 1 of her career, but day 1 of meeting another individual who became a central part of her life and changed her from someone warm and funny to the coldest person alive. He should know because he is the coldest man alive. He told her she needed a plan and in the first week they were together he made her list out hundreds of goals and objectives for herself. Everyday he drilled her on the goals and objectives and asked her what she had done about each one. The grillings could last hours and he hammered at her over and over. At first she was scared and wanted to leave but he kept her there. He basically turned her into a prisoner. She became a totally different person and became focused only on reaching those goals.

Fun was removed from her life. Everything had to have a purpose. There is no wasted motion or effort. If you go outside, you have to have a reason. When you hit a red carpet, there are certain things you must do everytime. The dress you are going to wear should not be about the way it makes you feel, but the message you are trying to share or convey. Gestures are not random, they should all be planned. Touching yourself or your partner or not should be planned. Our actress maps out every second of everyday.

After her split from The Controller, our actress got involved for a short time with a celebrity who is on everyone's wish list. She fell for him hard for about three days. It seemed to last longer but it was three days. She just could not enjoy herself with a guy who was so free spirited and out of control reckless. This is an actress who just like in her public life plans everything in her personal life too. Sex? She knows exactly what she will do and when she will do it. She has three or four different programs that she follows. Her current husband actually gets no sex at all whatsoever. They sleep in separate bedrooms much as she did in her past relationship. She runs his life. He also used to be a free spirit, albeit one with some issues. Yes, she straightened those out, but has changed him into a machine. The actress believes that children are props that are used to advance a career and play a part in success. They are to be brought out and displayed when it is most advantageous. New movie? Bring out a child. New job somewhere? Bring out a child. Someone writes they have not seen a child in sometime, bingo, one of the people hired to look for such things brings it up and the child is produced the next day.

Our actress used to do a lot of drugs and booze. Now? Nothing. She eats barely any food and expects the same of her husband. Surprisingly though, despite his past issues she lets him have several drinks each night and even to smoke pot. She thinks it keeps him more docile. She has been beaten before by him when he was sober so she lets him drink and smoke but only in the house and without friends there. Friends? The couple has no friends. She got rid of his friends a long time ago just as her friends were banished when she met The Controller. Our actress has exactly one friend. Brought out now once a year for lunch. Her husband? None. Although he gets along well with the security guards.

Our actress has sex with exactly one person. Her trainer. Has been with him for years and years that way. Exercise and then sex without fail several times a week forever. Yes, it even goes back to her time with The Controller because he did not have time for such things. His only rule about the sex with the trainer? Had to be in the house and the trainer signed a brutal confidentiality agreement.

The one problem in the plan of the actress after all these years is that no matter how hard she tries she cannot make people go see her movies. She still has not figured out though that she might be the problem and not others. If a movie bombs she never speaks to the people involved again. If it does well. she basks in the glow and takes all the credit. With all the bombs she has had over the past few years most bridges have been burned. She is still working her plan, but now her career seems to be out of her control. Lately she has started to follow a new plan to get her in the good graces of the public. Dutiful wife and mother. The problem is after so many years of not caring, it is tough to believe that she really ants to be either.

no doubt about any of this
why isn't this taken up a notch?

So, courtesy of this comment in an orb thread over at Country Chart Talk...

http://countrycharttalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=890&start=1825

...orb WILL in fact be performing "For You" at the ACM awards. No doubt a refried "countrified" version orb had alluded to in a fansie video. Clearly, a "regurgitated" version...considering that the NON country version on the Act of Valor soundtrack released on itunes only about 4 weeks ago...based on the paltry sales of the soundtrack album itself of ONLY 25k...is no doubt as big a dud...therefore requiring ANOTHER recycled version. It is a testiment to the rapid decline of orb's career that ALL he has to offer is a rather pathetic underachieving jingle...AGAIN....that DID NOT sell...ONLY a month ago!

maclen said...

So, to follow up on orb's scraping the rather meager bottom of his musical barrel with the performance of the soundtrack jingle, "For You", on the upcoming ACM awards...with NOT MUCH of note going on with the orb's pathetic career...a little speculative sooth seeing just for the fun of it. It being a rather decided consensus that orb's "pop/rock" soundtrack jingle...having already not only fallen off the top 100 song downloads on itunes...BUT also the Top 100 COUNTRY downloads...(for you see, unlike swifty, orb has NO crossover appeal whatsoever...so ALL his songs appear on the country charts)...again the song is a dud. So it would come to no surprise to me that he would as I describe it..."regurgitate" the decidedly failed "pop/rock" attempt at the jingle with a new version. What may we expect of the "new" version...if that is what in fact orb has done...and considering again, that the original version is a flop...I WOULD expect orb to country up the song. So, I'm just wondering...with swift finding massive success with her collab with The Civil Wars on a VERY "folksy" offering with Safe & Sound...and recalling that swift came out "banjo-ed" on her performance of her previous single, " Mean" at the Grammys...does orb come out at the ACM awards trying to "folksy" up his jingle as well? Will orb attempt to highlight the banjo on his refried version of his film song? Or perhaps orb comes out with an "acoustic" version of the song...seeing how swifty ALSO performed an "acoustic" version of her second movie song while touring Oz. I would find it pretty ironic if that was to transpire...noticing that swift's second movie song, "Eyes Open" is a rather "heavier" offering for swift...and it WOULD be hilarious if in fact, with that song...swifty ACTUALLY ends up "out rocking" the orb! For it is rather obvious, again, that orb's "pop/rock" attempt with "For You" is such a loser in it's sales numbers. It has NOT caught on...even with his dwindling fansies. Orb is obviously floundering...and "aping" swift seems to be his "go to" move...more and more. So, we shall see...

So, as this weeks top 200 singles sales reveal...

...and so on...my point is further revealed. Orb's last single, You Gonna Fly, has fallen off the top 200 list of sales...AND will be LUCKY if it can reach a measly 200k in sales. Orb's movie soundtrack song, For You, is also no longer on the top 200 in singles sales...AND I would wager and calculate that it would be LUCKY to even sell 50k! And on top of that, NOT ONE of orb's previous singles...not PUt you in a song...Without You or Long hot summer is even on the Top 200 of the Catalog singles sales list. So now, orb is to perform the soundtrack song on the ACM awards. And what is the ultimate purpose? My guess is it is a countryish version for release as a "radio" single. Orb no longer has success in album and singles SALES...ALL he has left is the "radio" market. Where it is CLEAR...that their "spins" CAN and ARE manipulated by "outside" sources and "influences!"
I once speculated previously, based on his reliance on a plethora of covers on his tour last year...orb would go more "classic rock" themed on his next album...I think that his release...and the subsequence failure of his "pop/rock" movie song, For You in lousy sales...WAS the reason orb would want to re-record another version of the song. And really, the failure of his album in sales would tell orb that he has NO future in the US, which is why he's jetsetting every week now between the US for a few token appearances here and there...and to Oz...and a tv show and a hope to FIND a new and fresh audience. It is no doubt that all of the indications of orb's music in the US...show that orb's future IS NOT in the states...but presumably somewhere else. I dont see, whether or not orb releases another album this year or next...whether it is pop rock or even countryish...it will NOT SELL very well...the singles will not sell very well...and orb will no doubt HOPE that the show in Oz is a big success on tv...but one thing for sure is...it will not be success FOR orb's music!

Well maclen... Voice is not going to be a winner to any great degree.

What it will show is how desperate Moosie is!! She has made how many trips back and forth already. You know no red carpets but plenty of airport pics. What a jerk!!!

It just makes her look exactly the way this article says...cold fish!!

She don't give a tinker's damn for those kids they are just props dragging them around at all hours of the night for no reason!!

She is some piece of work!! And yo know what I really mean by that!!

So, from the orb's mouth...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqL27rgaMCo

...For You WILL be his next single. No doubt the UNDERwhelming response the song has had on itunes...not to mention the equally lame sales of the soundtrack itself...does not deter the orb on this desperate move. Now, the only question remaining...will it go...AS IS...the soundtrack version? As I mentioned, if orb is releasing it...why do "further" work on the song in the studio? As I also mentioned when I first heard the song...IT AINT country...and orb ONLY plays on country radio...where he has his connections to get the song up the country chart. So I'm expecting a country-refried" version tonight on the ACM awards show. This new "single" will not sell...orb's singles no longer sell...but he'll get his "radio" hit. Look it up...EVERY elite country act gets at least 2...3...even 4 radio hits per album these days..but NOT every country act can sell a "platinum" cd...orb certainly hasnt gotten a "platinum" selling single...in....EVER...and I predict his next cd WILL NOT sell platinum... it will be lucky next time to even sell "Gold!" So for this failing country hasbeen...it's back to the radio...where he can always "schmooze" his way to "radio spins"...because they all can do it!
So, tune in to see if orb pulls out his "cracking country twang" tonight on the show to get what little success he can find for his music...those radio waves!

"Maclen, he actually did a good job tonight and got a standing O. We'll post the video if we can get it tomorrow."

Well, the last question I have on this developement, Urban Myths...was whether he would "county-fy" the song. When I initially heard he was working on the song in the studio... I immediately assumed he WOULD release it as a single. And that is the question...will a "country" version sell better than the original? It IS a given that the country audience in Nashville would wholeheartedly gush over the songs platitudes of "patriotism"...so the standing ovation does not surprise me whatsoever. Did orb have a backdrop of american flags flowing in the background? Did he have, as I read on a message board speculate...the Navy Seals out on stage? Again, I am not arguing that his fans...or the Nashville audience "like" the song...or think it is a "great" song...or cheer his performance on stage...but how will it perform out in the very "real" marketplace? As I've pointed out in my past comments...the soundtrack version is not selling...it is already out of the top 100 selling itunes songs...even the top 100 Country song downloads....the soundtrack has only sold about 25k. Whether or not the orb "performed" the hell out of the song at the ACMs...or would shred it on live tour... impresses me not one iota...or if his fansies think it is the best song he's ever recorded...it's CLEAR the song will fall with a huge thud when it is released in a couple of weeks...the song ALREADY has fallen with the thud! The "radio" hype that is simply and clearly manipulated will make it appear orb is still somehow viable...the "marketplace" reveals that his music no longer is.

Urban Myths said...

No, maclen, not his best song ever. But best song he's sung live in a long time. And not a tribute to his Baby Girl. The videos of the troops were on the screen behind him. We'll discuss more tomorrow.

...yes...

http://tasteofcountry.com/keith-urban-for-you-at-2012-acm-awards/

"..Urban, who took the stage with a full backing band. Clips from the movie ‘Act of Valor’ played behind Urban as he delivered a riveting yet very emotional performance, really feeling the words as he sang from the perspective of a soldier. His performance has been one of our favorite thus far, as he really captured the ambivalent mindset of a soldier, singing, “I felt like I’d just made the biggest mistake when I though about my unborn child.”
Of course, Urban gave an amazing guitar solo towards the close of the song as the names of deceased military members scrolled across the large screens behind him and his band.

...I had a feeling the desperate orb would use SOMETHING in the way of exploiting the "patriotic" card...the platitudes orb "portrays" in this song.

"...as he sang from the perspective of a soldier."

...too bad for orb he CAN'T sing from the "view" of a soldier. And I would be interested in what orb's past efforts for the "troops" were...you know...BEFORE he was now paying tribute to them...NOW that he has a song he's trying to sell! How many times...prior to getting a song onto a military MOVIE...did orb "pay tribute" to the troops? HOw many USO visits has orb made...for the troops? Well, when I type "keith urban" and "USO" into google...this is ALL I see...

Toby Keith Wraps USO Tour | Country Music Tattle Tale

....and NOTHING on the orb! And again, PLATITUDES are when the orb FINDS his patriotism when he only has a movie and song to sell...and not when it would have really meant something....again...BEFORE he personally HAD SOMETHING to gain by it...a tacky song!

I just saw the performance. It was basically a straightforward performance of the soundtrack version. Ok...its the "best song he's sung live in a long time"...but what does that translate into exactly? Does the song currently on itunes get a significant bump? The song has been on itunes the past month...and since it is no longer listed on the top 100 digital downloads...I can only speculate that it has sold maybe 25k to maybe 35k...the soundtrack which also sold about the same as orb's single the first week...about 10k...has only sold 25k in a months time. And what does it say that the song IS NOT dedicated to kidman...(although his "wife and unborn child" are in the lyrics)...but has, like his other singles, sold very weakly. I'm not saying that many may like his performance or think it was good...what I'm saying is...what will it do for orb's future performance in the marketplace? Will it make orb a viable commodity in the marketplace? I just dont believe orb can have another BB #1 hit...and NOT sell downloads and remain relevant. Basically, I'm looking at the overall picture...the end game...and not simply hoping to see a single pleasant performance...or orb NOT with kidman at an actual photo op. I can afford to...I'm not a fan!

maclen said...

...so yet again...an ex post facto...in the literature sense...

A thought. Does the fact that the song HAS had a very "patriotic" theme and subject all along...this past month it has been available on itunes...AND it has NOT sold very well...say anything to the song itself? And as I speculated previously, even IF the song is redone to sound MORE country...will that version sell any more? It is clear to me orb is simply releasing the single for radio consumption...because that is where he can find success...he didNOT find it in cd sales or in the live tour or in song downloads. Now again, does it make a difference that he performed it on the ACMs? Now orb of course HOPES that this single will bring him awards love this upcoming year. And what better than a patriotic song. So will orb maybe get "live performance" awards recognition? I'm sure many expect so. The "play up" of the performance tonight would seem to signal that! That aside, I sense, as I've been making rather clear tonight in my comments... the reason the song has NOT sold well on itunes may be that others also sense what I'm sensing from orb and his "newly found" patriotism...it just doesnt smack of true or established sincerity!

so...last thought for tonight...

How did orb's performance play out in the press?

The first page of articles of a google search of "keith urban"...11:37 PM pacific time...

..one title story on orb's performance...a "fashion" mention on the title story on the 2nd page...and one title story on orb's performance on the 3rd page. And the other 27 title stories on the winners, photos or other mentions.
That is not to diminish anyones enjoyment of orb's performance...but it is a disadvantage to not be nominated...and especially diminished coverage when your NOT a winner. REMEMBER... this is an orb google search! A google search of "ACM awards 2012" DOESNT show an orb performance title story till the 12th page...another 120 articles. If orb can sell even a gold selling single...or a platinum selling album...then I would say this performance was worth it and useful for orb....but I would doubt it.

Maclen,

Don't forget that for the last six years he has been chasing the dream of a cross over to rock/pop.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the last time I looked most pop/rock stars are either totally oblivious to politics/patriotism or they usually lean pretty far left. Also, as has been mentioned here ad nauseam, he played lots and lots of stadiums, (colleges)and as Lenin himself described our sweet innocent youth as "useful idiots" the more progressive the better on campuses, so one would definately shy away from the war topic, if for no other reason than to keep it light.

He played for a country kick them with our steeled toe boot crowd last night.

What do you think?

Kidman doesn't get to access too many red carpets these days.. and as the BI says her new plan is to look devoted towards her family

plus I would have left LA too since they handed out the razzies this weekend and she was nominated.

lets face some facts with the exception of Tim and Kenney KU gave the best performance of the night.
Yes, there were a ton of service persons there and the Country audience is patriotic but the performance was really one of the highlights for its simplicity.
and a plus for me was no Baby Girl mention.

Hatti said...

Again I will say...KU has always thanked the troops. He has always stated their sacrifice. I saw a very mannerly performance last night. He didn't try to use the troops for his own good he sang what he created and let the song pay homage.

As for Moosie...well she is almost down the drain!! She is hanging on to her down under hill billy for dear life. And paying dearly for it!!!!

Without him she would be stuck in no man's land ((actually)) where she should be.

Even her own press is turning on her. So good to see there is some truth in the media. She is Frumpy! ((giggles))

123xyz said...

This is not some new patriotism on Keith's part. He has thanked the troops in the past. Before this song. He was even interviewed on the military channel a few years ago. He thanked them then for all that they do and continues to.

For someone who looks for the smallest thing to use to put down Urban, in a lot of ways you are very much alike. Keith drones on and on about how great his wife and marriage are. You drone on and on about how his career is over. The whole fake it until you make it. Or if you say it enough times it will come true. When in reality it just makes people tune out. It's a shame, this blog was a lot more interesting before it went all stats all the time.

Yes, for the most part hoosier..."entertainment" has been predominately to the "left." Which is the reason republicans are constantly going after those "liberal arts" programs! But I do believe the Country industry has also been predominately "conservative" in it's views. Of course it's been evolving since... the Republican Lincoln freed the slaves...but then about a 100 years later it was the Democrats Kennedy and Johnson who stood for the desegregation of campus colleges and the Civil rights of blacks. It's simply the south's heritage to be a little more on the "conservative" side. It's surely a reflection that the south was more than willing to take up arms to fight for the right to keep slavery as the status quo because it was in their financial benefit. And I think that is a lasting residual as to why Country ...which has been entrenched and originated in the south...find it in their make up and cant HELP but be gung ho for the troops. I surely find ALOT to dispute over our military involvement across the world right now...one thing I cant begrudge...although I wouldnt neccessarily agree with toby keith's stand...is his sincere and complete belief of his views over the "troops." I find orb is simply trying to cash in on a calculated PR strategy for the simple moment that he is desperate to find something...anything...that will catch on and give him a boost in his career.

I also want to add that I have been at far too many KU shows to count where he acknowledged the work of the troops- he has been doing that for a very long time.

So, a certified orb fan believes this thread is no longer "interesting." Enough so that they felt the NEED to come in and actually comment! I am WELL aware that my constant comments on the orb goes CONTRARY to the last of the remaining "skeptics" on the blogs that still obvious hold out hope that the orb can return to "normal"...just as soon as he is rid of the ball and chain. And it is a testiment to my constant comments criticizing the orb that they still occasionally rankle and clearly hit sensitive spots on the fansies and skeptics that still have their soft spots for orb...who again, can be completely acceptable if he can simply escape from his "jailer!" Clearly, IF kidman can exploit the UN ambassadorship...and those sickly child patients over in Oz...for the sake of her films box office success...just as clearly orb can exploit the troops for the needed success of his music.
And the difference between me and orb...droning on and on...orb's is causing him to do a tv show in Oz...and dwindling cd sales...dwindling tour grosses...dwindling singles sales...dwindling awards...dwindling media coverage. My droniing on and on...is simply a hobby...basically what I do for sport. It has NO bearing on my livelihood or career. You dont even know me...what I do...how i live...etc. Criticizing me on this thread DOES NOTHING to me personally. My criticizing the orb apparently rankles a few fans and even skeptics...and believe me...my "droning on and on" gives me alot more satisfaction that my "stats" prove me FAR MORE correct ...than that they may "annoy" a few fansies! The truth is I am fully content to simply state my opnions and drone on and on...NEVER feeling the need to go to the POSITIVE threads...or the monkeysite...or the anti skeptics boards...because I am fully confident in what I believe about the orb. Obviously you do have "concerns" and feel the need to defend the orb from my "droning on and on!" And what the stats of this blog prove is that I will be "droning on and on .....and on....and on... and I know that bugs you, right?

Oh dear, a little revisionist history?

There was (is?) a little thing called states rights that the South was fighting for. A great many of the land owners had already freed their slaves or were in the process of prior to the withdrawal of South Carolina from the Union. My grandmother's daddy was one of them.

If State's had rights (which they do not, in the way the constitution intended) we wouldn't be in this mess. Kennedy and Johnson certainly fixed things for the oppressed, didn't they? How many generations have been and still are depended upon social welfare programs for their survival? Great Society. Right.

maclen said...

So, here are a few reaction comments over at the Pulse Music Board...in the Country section of the "ACM Awards- April 1st, 2012...on the subject of "standing ovations"...

http://pulsemusic.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=country&action=display&thread=113423&page=12

"Did Miranda get a standing ovation though because it seemed like very few stood up but somehow everyone gave Kenny and Tim a standing o for what was by far one of the worse performances last night."

"Also, I didn't notice if Miranda got a standing ovation, but Keith and Dierks both did."

"The only standing ovations I noticed were for Keith Urban, Kenny & Tim, and Dierks Bentley."

"Little big town also got a standing ovation."

...seems there is a little confusion on just WHO did or did not...or who DID or did not DESERVE a standing ovation. It's FUNNY..."but opinions" will do that. Some MAY notice their favorites receiving one...while not others who they may believe "didnt deserve one!'

So, a challenge...which of this listing of "facts" can someone "dispute" with another set of contrary "facts...

1.-Orbs current LP sold LESS than his previous LP. Get LOSER! has sold...by calculation...about 680k to certainly NOT 700k. Defying sales was at LEAST certified platinum for sales AND shipments of 1mill cds by the RIAA.

2- Orb's last live tour grossed less and attracted less people than his previous. His last tour grossed $27mil and attracted 8k per show. His previous tour grossed $42mil and attracted 11k per show.

3.- Of orb's last 7 singles going back to 2009, none has sold gold. (500K) Orb's last single, You gonna fly has sold according to roughstock's report and orb's last appearance on them had him selling about 180k in 6 months time.

4- In the last awards qualifying period...orb has won NOT ONE award and the previous year he only won 2.

5.- Of orb's new media accounts, his facebook page is the least "liked" of country acts swift, chesney, underwood, paisley, lady ant...etc...and his twitter account has the least followers of previous said performers...and his youtube channels is also the least viewed videos of previous set.

So, I offer "facts" that orb's career is declining...not that it's over...YET. But as most things in decline...it's only a matter of time.

Hatti said...

...wow...I never would have expected I would actually be conversing with an actual stark raving republican "secessionist!" Your "views" hoosier are positively so... 19th century! HA! It is absolutely beyond me that you claim that southern slaveowners were in the process...and well on headed to eliminating slavery just prior to the Civil War! Is that what your trying to say?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origins_of_the_American_Civil_War

Origins of the American Civil War

"The main explanation for the origins of the American Civil War is slavery, especially Southern anger at the attempts by Northern antislavery political forces to block the expansion of slavery into the western territories. Southern slave owners held that such a restriction on slavery would violate the principle of states' rights. In 1860, the election of Abraham Lincoln, who won the national election without receiving a single electoral vote from any of the Southern states, triggered declarations of secession from the United States by slave states of the Deep South, and their formation of the Confederate States of America."

The fallacy that the "empowered" would give up generations of even evolving heinous state sanctioned slavery...willingly is not backed up by the facts of history. I know not what history books you've read hoosier...but it aint the ones Ive read...ALL of the ones ive read say slavery WAS a major factor to that war. I think this is enough on this subject!

So, clearly MY opinion on orb's performance on the ACMs is very clear...my opinion of the crass opportunism of it's "patriotic" exploition by the CLEARY NON ACTIVE orb in regards to the "troops!" Although some claim orb occasionally has paid simple "lip service" to the troops...dont knock yourself out there orb!
But as to the claim that orb's performance was perhaps "stellar"...a "knock out"...an especially perfect thing...here now...NOT more of my thoughts...but...a "Super Fansie's" thoughts on his performance last night...a "jhomes87" over at Country Chart Talk forums...

"In regards to Keith's performance, I will agree that he seemed off-key at times. But I still loved the performance. This song hits me harder than almost any Keith song, save for a few. Maybe it's the overall sentiment behind it--the sacrifice, the willingness to do whatever it takes for those you love--that gets me. It can be a patriotic song, it can be a love song. How many songs can say that? Not too many. So while Keith was a tad bit shaky, he was FAR from bad in my book. And compared to many of the other performers, Keith sounded golden. It's a difficult song to perform, no doubt, but like jsbuzz mentions, Keith is one of very few true talents...and I think he shines on this song, even if last night's performance wasn't quite up to par.

...so, "off key at times?" "a tad shaky?" "Far from bad?" How far? "wasn't quite up to par?"
It's quite the conundrum when seeing performers live. In the moment...standing in front of the massive speakers...the music thumping in your chest...it really can seem like the most exhilarating moment in your life...you'd swear you were in the presence of angels! Then you go home...and in a few days...you'll check out the youtube video...then you'll go Hmmmm? I dont recall at the time he was "off key"...that he was so "shakey"....and he actually doesnt seem to be "quite up to par"...BUT I recall I had a blast baby! To paraphrase... inversely...

"some people see things as they are and say why? Some people dream things that never were and say, Why not?"

All occurrences are subject to different interpretations. And some things..just aren't.

Wow! I never thought you would believe what you read without even giving thought to the possibility that there were two sides to the story.

Oh well, I guess the NEA has done its job.

If you look,Maclen you can find lots of facts that will back up the State's Rights argument, and thinking that I or anyone else would want to enslave another human is ridiculous.

I think this is enough on this subject!

The time period they want her to play Grace Kelly she was 32-33 yrs old. By the time this films Kidman will be 45 yrs old. Grace Kelly was 5'7" Kidman it like 6 ft. Totally wrong casting in my opinion.

This one floored me Tara/123...for anyone to even think of casting this cold fish to play America's darling (at that time)!!

We all wanted to be Grace Kelly she was the warmest most gracious actress ever. And b/c she died so young we think of her as young.

For the OLD MOOSE to be disgussed for this part is obscene to say the least!! ((giggles)))

Ok... as Gelhorn I can see that. Martha was a self centered tough bird. So yes Moosie could with some stretch of the imagination fit the bill. She don't in real life have the starch MG had but the self centered shes got more than anyone could want!! ;)

NK banging her trainer is hardly a secret. A few years ago there were pics of them walking and he had the most obvious hard on in history. Plus there was that time she walked out with super hard nipples. Uh uh honey. Pilates ain't that sexy.
