Long overdue and so glad it finally happened. He was genuinely moved and touched by the honor. To realize where he started and how he's come full circle you could tell he was really thankful. He cares about the music and he cares about the country music industry and he'll be a part of it forever. Congratulations Keith!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Keith.
He gets why this is such a big thing and is humbled by it.And finally nice that he understand that loyal bunch of us Bunny skeptic or in the middle called his fans.
It not about the people who buy the tickets not the CDs or are in the fan clubs- its those people who like the music.

I just hope and I know it won't happen, that his wife understand this and doesn't turn it into some kind of Nicold thing. It wasn't about her but if she can make his throat scare into a life and death thing (hey Nicole read about Robin Gibb and feel ashamed maybe) who knows how this will be reintroduced.

As for his signing last night- he appeared highly emotional because he was- that wasn't fake.

Yes he worked for this and wished for it a long time.

I was so happy Moosie girl sat in the audience and not in the family section. Maybe someone forgot to tell her there is a family section. Oh yes... you have to be family! (giggles))

It's a shame his Mom wasn't there. She would have been very moved!

It says it all that his parents weren't there.

So now that he is a superstar TV performer in Oz- how long before it becomes all about Nicold? Because we know that ego can't handle him being more popular than she is. Sucks to be you Nicold...
Is he in Scotland yet dragging tea to her movie set?
They are so devoted aren't they...

I wonder if Keith is still a supporter of Eric Church after what he said in Rolling Stone? Rolling Stone- I remember when Keith would have given up a lot to get in there.

So the voice for Keith is just about PR. Are you surprised. When a booted contestant was asked how long he spent with Keith in practice or mentoring he said only about 15 or 20 minutes - that says a lot

If you've been watching the shows you'd know that Cam came into this with the attitude that he was better then everyone else. He even got reprimanded by Seal during the blind audition for not having the right attitude. When he was paired against his battle round opponent he thought he had it in the bag. Well, Keith picked the other guy, so now this guy has an ax to grind against Keith. You saw it on stage. We've seen the time they've spent with the contestants up to this point. Cam did one song and he was out of the competition. How much time do you really think at this stage of the show Keith is going to spend with each of his 12 team members??? As the teams get smaller the more time the judges and mentors have for individual mentoring.

I actually have been watching the Voice and find it highly entertaining
but I am not delusional to think that Keith (or any of them)actually cares about the talent. Its to be seen by a wide audience and help his career in a place where I think we can all admit he was nothing but Kidman's husband.

Wondered why this stupid b allowed a picture to be taken with a cupcake in her hands (this s--t face ALWAYS stages herself for PR, not an iota of genuineness)?

Someone likely said someone's collecting celebrities with strange addictions in the company of A/A-/B+ celebrities -- whoa, join that. This hermy's suppose to have an addiction for all cakes, esp chocolate: http://wonderwall.msn.com/movies/celebrities-with-strange-addictions-19312.gallery#!wallState=0__%2Fmovies%2Fcelebrities-with-strange-addictions-19312.gallery%3FphotoId%3D75539.

Hermy's at it again...she's making fun of our intelligence..........

Well Tara...I guess it has always been about Moosie girl. After all he gets paid very well to keep it all about her.

I think his Mom is as sick of the stupidity as I am. After awhile it gets old. And the reasons for his actions no longer hold any meaning but money.

I believe if it was any different he would have made sure this was done no matter what she could have done in the media to him.

So I think his parents are just done. They are going to live separate from him for as long as he continues to embarrass them by this on going charade!!!

Not up on his supposed real relationship with her. A small detail from Crazy Nite & Day mentoned about her getting beat up by this guy? If he can do that, is he really that controlled by her or just plain simply emotionally lame?

Hatti said...

Well quikstop... you can believe anything in the media till you realize Moosie girl runs the media b/c of Rupert Murdoch.

The truth be known he didn't beat her up... she put that out to threaten him with deportation if he didn't do what she wanted.

Hence forth the contract that was to escort her when needed... changed into what ever she wanted it to be. Yet he has not changed... he is still the escort.

By the way she is known to be the bruiser. The ashtrays flying... well she said that herself!!

I find it very interesting that Keith is not clear about returning to the Voice for a second season. That shows me that my thoughts were more and more on target. This was a way to give him a platform to step away from Kidman and establish himself so that he can build on that. Good move Keith.
About the BI take it apart line by line and wonder why it said what it did.

quikstop,

One of the posters on CDAN mentioned the possibility that Enty will throw in a bit of BS just to make a Blind Item not so obvious. That bit about him smacking her around is just that--BS. I can see him opening up a mouth, but not swinging a fist. But everything else fits.

Tara was right in terms of people seeing him only as Kidman's husband: one print piece on Keith just as "Voice" was starting up referred to his image as Kidman's handbag.
