Escape Together Tour... Mohegan Sun

Thursday, May 7 & Friday, May 8

Opening Act: Sugarland

Keith Urban's Escape Together World Tour begins tonight in Uncasville, Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Casino. The arena holds 10,000 people. As of earlier this week, tickets in the lower level were still available for BOTH shows; even two seats together.

Please share reviews about the shows here. If you are personally going, we'd especially love your feedback.

Uh-oh, Sugarland just cancelled their first 3 shows. Jennifer has tonsillitis. Jason Aldean will sub in.

Really? Wow, tonsillitis is a pretty drastic excuse to use just to get out of opening for the low rent and subpar orb! So on the eve of the orbs tour...his cd has been out 5 weeks and opening at a weak #1 it is falling down the charts with its paltry 290k total being sold. Certainly the orb was hoping by this time the cd would be "climbing up the charts" and the live gigs would help build momentum...instead the cd comes out and already it's a forgotten memory...only thing I'm waiting to see is if it's fallen out of the top 20...

Sugarland is a big draw. How many may decide not to go to Mohegan Sun if there is no Sugarland to open? I would actually prefer Jason Aldean or Little Big Town myself, but I suspect I'm amongst the minority.

... I particularly would like to hear what the attendance of the gigs appear to be...obviously the orb's cd sales are down, what about the live show attendences?

..so, Billboard has just updated the top 200 album chart...and the orb's cd has fallen 7 spots, from #17 to #24... from #1 to #24 in just 5 weeks! Meanwhile, a little interesting sidebar...taylor swift's Fearless cd, on the charts for 25 weeks now, actually jumped up 2 spots from #11 to #9...swifts cd already reaching the #1 spot, is still hanging around the top 10...and swift is going to "open" for the orb? I wonder if swift will come down with tonsillitis about the time she is set to open for the incredibly shrinking orb?

No you are not in the minority...I feel the same way you do! I'd much rather see Jason Aldean or Little Big Town anyday. Just thought I'd let you know that you weren't the only one that felt that way.

Count me in on Jason Aldean. That kid gives his all to entertain the crowds. He reminds me a lot of the old Keith before the ice queen came along and he was still hungry.

Jennifer Nettles' voice is so nasal it is very irrating to me. Hey maybe the tonsilitis will improve it; make it deeper or smoother somehow.

Yes, that is true about Jason Aldean...he does give his all at his shows and he shows he appreciates his fans...much like KU USED to do before "Broom Hilda" came into the picture! I am still a fan of his, but I can see the changes and know the reality of things...don't like it worth a tinker's damn, but it is what it is!
